YES, touring Cinderella’s Dream Suite was Amazing!+14 Other Magical Days* Dismeet & Wrap

I think you should blame the PP photog for the temporary breakup... I mean, poor Em didn't stand a chance after bowing down to you. Haha. I love how real you are here. You could have just said that you decided to go off on your own for whatever reason, but instead you actually just told the real story. That is so genuine to me and I think it's probably why people are so drawn to you. IDK if I explained that the way I wanted to, but I meant it in a good way! :goodvibes

I also fully support eating cookies for breakfast!

I've never the Fairy Godmother, but I have an awesome picture of my niece with her that I stole from my brother. I love your interaction with her!

And a weird observation I had... are the Pixie Hollow characters the only M&Gs for characters who never appeared in a theater-shown movie? I have no clue who they are either.

Mega update - Nice!

Cinnamon roll and apple slices sound good to me right now! I really must go in Gaston's tavern and get a snack one of these trips! I never have. On the bucket list it goes.

And, of course, an oatmeal cookie is a breakfast food! Oatmeal - breakfast. Doh! :rotfl:

Your pics with the Fairy Godmother were so cute!

Yup - evening a mom and daughter can need some time apart. A WDW trip is exhausting and I'm a big fan on down time!

oh yeah - Cute dress!

I am very impressed that your breakup only lasted an hour!!!

What wonderful character pics, you hit the motherlode and I agree, am oatmeal arisen cookie is a perfectly reasonable breakfast option and healthy too! Worth every one of those 4 dollars!!!!! :)

Aww... so sad that you and Em were having an off morning... Glad the small separation did the trick and you were able to get back together quickly!

Chip and Dale looked like a lot of fun!

Gotta love the Country Bears! Especially when its hot outside!

Oatmeal cookies are definite OK for breakfast! They have cereal, and eggs, and fruit...

I really have to make sure I keep an eye out for Alex on upcoming trips for PP pictures.

Hahaha, nice! Bowing down to you in your kingdom. I would like to start my day that way. :rotfl2:

Em definitely picked the breakfast of champions. I totally had that in May. It's on my list of repeats. :thumbsup2

I'm sorry you guys had a bump in the morning. I've been there before. You've read my TR's, I don't hold back. It's completely normal. But, it does not shatter my illusion at all, because I know you guys are still totally awesome. :goodvibes

Chipmunk sandwich, I love it! And a chipmunk tantrum to boot.

The attitude is totally normal for Vidia. It's part of her character. :lmao:

I think Em and Eveie are very similar. Both are such good girls so it's nearly impossible to fight with them. I've been cross with Eveie for forgetting her homework or doing something silly like not looking when she crosses the road but she is never intentionally bad, and we never fight. I hope that continues like you and Em.
:)

Haha that bowing picture is too much! I really need to find the PP photographers with the frames, I love those.

Chip and Dale are SO MUCH FUN!! That is an awesome meet, and such adorable pictures.

Oatmeal is a breakfast food and raisins are healthy. Totally a valid breakfast option.

Daww, so happy that the little bit of alone time worked and you guys were back in good spirits.

Kylie used to be a big fairies fan and it's my understanding that Vidia is very sassy. She's a cutie though!

A glorious last morning indeed!I could sit there and watch that forever. Of course the sun doesn't exactly cooperate for the forever thing, so I'll settle for an opportunity every morning. :goodvibes

I didn't realize y'all made ADR's every morning, I loooooove eating breakfast out when I'm on vacation, my waist line.... not so much. :rolleyes2 I don't know what it is about being up early that makes me want to eat a huge breakfast, but I do. :confused3
I think that's why I love the breakfast at Crystal Palace and Akershus so much, there's a great combination of healthy and not so healthy choices. :goodvibes

You know I don't think I've ever met Barb, I will have to make sure I look out for her when I'm there next time.

As you know I'm planning my next trip for next May and I'm hoping you'll be able to make it during that time. ::yes:: If you can't that year we need to plan a trip for the following spring together. :goodvibes Just us, we'll book spa appts. and make it a total girls fest. After you planning a wedding I'm sure you'll need the time off to rest and relax.

Can't wait to read about the rest of your beautiful last day. ::yes::

Hey Camille! Yeah.... you'll notice that as the trip wore on the clothing became loser and bigger! There is the waistline thing. We didn't hit up Akershus this trip since we did it the trip before and after this one. I love the cheesy potatoes. The prices there have become so crazy that it's almost as much as CRT.

Look for Barb next time and give a shout out to her. She's so friendly.

I'll need a box of tissues after the wedding. Still not sure of dates so unfortunately I can't plan for 2015. :sad2:

I don't know much about the fairies either but my 4 year granddaughter likes them. They seem like a fun group and more laid back then the princesses. :)

The fairies have more spunk and attitude that's for sure!

Hi Brenda! I'm all caught up and still loving your TR! Thank you so much for including the pictures and info about the 24-hour event - that must have been so fun! :goodvibes

Thanks Roni! I'm so glad to see you getting caught up. My best attempt to day was to pop into your DCA/DL TR. (So glad that you guys loved RSR!)

The 24 hr party, what we experienced, had some really fun opportunities. We should have stayed longer to see the final countdowns. But I'm old and need my sleep more than that. ;)

aw, sad to see that there was a bit of a rough patch with you and Em but glad it only lasted an hour ... plus, you had that great interaction with Chip that might not have happened if you you were solo

and great to get in two classics like Peter Pan and the Country Bears!

an nothing wrong with a cookie for breakfast in Disney - since there are no calories in Disney food - just pixie dust and dreams!

Looking back we laugh now. Since Em's the one that said we broke up I know she was looking at it with a sense of humor. :)

Seeing as how she was tired of any cameras at that point Chip/Dale wouldn't have happened so you're right.....there's the silver lining!

Peter Pan with such a short EMH wait was a must do. I would have ditched my kid to do that one if she protested. Luckily I didn't have to choose.

Bahaha, Awesome bowing photo. And Em, you're a good sport.

He must be awesome because on the final wide castle shot, it seems a few folks were turning to look.

Fairy Godmother is on my to do list. I didn't konw they brought out any characters during EMH.

Truth be told, that was a pretty darn mature way to handle the moodies. Take a break. And now that Em has the green light for some solo travel (though occasionally misidentified), it's a perfect solution.

Sounds like the nearby CM needed a break too. Yikes.

OK now I need to do "PhotoPass CM's around the Kingdom."

Country Bears is ALWAYS Must Do!!

Vidia does have attitude, but... um...

That will be a classic shot of Em bowing to me on Main Street! The poor kid didn't like that one so I'll blame part of the break up on Alex! Alex was funny and boisterous so he definitely drew attention.

Maybe they knew that I wanted to see the FGM so that was all for me, huh? It could happen. ::yes::

During our December trip Em was solo frequently so I went from zero to 60 in 2 seconds... that was a quick transition. But yeah, we had a moment and then it was over.

Can we still be friends if I say that CBJ is not an every trip attraction? It's cool but not at the top of my list. ;)

Smart of you to recognize when you and Em needed a break from one another. I've always gotten along great with my mom, but I think after 14 days we would have started to irritate each other. I think anybody in general would start pushing buttons after such a long time. :confused3

And it looks like you had a fun time in that hour solo park touring. Chip and Dale are two of best character interactions a guest can have. Love their outfits for that location, too!

I see nothing wrong with your breakfast choice. As you said, it wasn't like you were eating a cupcake. There was zero frosting on your item. And there was oatmeal. Oatmeal's a typical breakfast go-to. :rotfl2::rotfl:

Yeah, at least we recognized the moment that we needed some alone time. That worked! Funny but it doesn't take me 14 days to annoy my husband that much! :lmao:

That was my first MK Chip/Dale encounter in that area. I've only seen them in Tomorrowland in their space suits. They were pretty awesome this day!

Heck, I see my "breakfast" cookie as practically health-food. Oats, raisins, love, what else could you want?

Exactly! It was Alex's fault for our unfortunate break-up. Oh, I honestly didn't think to censor that part of our trip but THANK YOU for supporting the good and not so pleasant part of it. :goodvibes I took that in a good way.

Phew! Glad you're on my side with the cookie thing. I know there are people who would never do that but they'll probably live longer than me! :rotfl2:

The FGM was so perfect. I'm glad that I ran into her.

You may be right about those fairies. I don't know who the guy is (Terrance?) nor Vidia or whomever else has never graced the big screen. I can't think of any other characters that are promoted who didn't result from a movie.

Mega update - Nice!

Hi Mary Ellen! Strange how those lists grow the more TRs we read. My cocktail list is now quite extensive including those turtle krawls.

I'm glad to welcome you to "Oatmeal cookies are acceptable for breakfast fan club!" Make sense. Heck, you're a nurse so if you approve it must be ok.

Thanks!

Apparently we should have made a decision for alone time about 5 minutes before we did. It all worked out well and we can laugh now.

I am very impressed that your breakup only lasted an hour!!!

What wonderful character pics, you hit the motherlode and I agree, am oatmeal arisen cookie is a perfectly reasonable breakfast option and healthy too! Worth every one of those 4 dollars!!!!! :)

And gratefully so! We got that out of our system fairly quickly.

Thanks Cynthia!

Oatmeal cookies just sound healthy! I can justify almost anything. I've been known to have bread pudding for breakfast as well. ;)

Aww... so sad that you and Em were having an off morning...

Thankfully the moodies passed quickly. You'll notice that we were back together and the first thing we did was pose for more photos. :rotfl: I must not have learned anything!

Now why didn't we ask the guys to pose with the chipmunks? They could have had some hilarious interactions. Especially if one of the guys called the munks squirrels. In any event, it was hilarious.

CBJ, this just had to be on the Must Do list since we hadn't done it before. Plus I wanted to see the guys on the wall that are referenced in the original CBJ attraction that is now Pooh's ride at DL. Not sure that made sense. Anyway... I'm glad we did it. May skip it next trip to make room for other never done things like Tom Sawyer Island.

See? A second RN that said oatmeal cookies for breakfast are ok. :thumbsup2

I really have to make sure I keep an eye out for Alex on upcoming trips for PP pictures.

Chipmunk sandwich, I love it! And a chipmunk tantrum to boot.

The attitude is totally normal for Vidia. It's part of her character. :lmao:

Oh my gosh!! Get you and Alex together and fugeddaboudit! You guys would be a streetmosphere act!

I'm afraid to try that cinnamon roll since it could be addictive. I'm a creature of habit so it could be a bad thing to find something that incredible at MK.

Awww thanks for the support Danielle!! There's solidarity here! :thumbsup2 Honestly, teens and moms, it's not shocking I'm sure.

Those rascals were great but that Chip was getting out of control. I still owe him a photo.

Whew! Glad I didn't have a second young lady pissy with me. If that's Vidia's regular 'tude then I feel better.

:)

Alysa I get that sense with Evie. Very mild mannered and easy going right? Em was the kid that you didn't know she was in the house she was so quiet. The boys... that was another story. :) I'm sure because of your personalities being so gracious and thoughtful you'll have easy teen years.

Hi Courtney! That was an epic pose for Em!!

As for the frames, I've only seen the frames at MK by Crystal Palace. They were doing construction there recently so I'm not sure if they moved them someplace else. If they had other props like wands or swords that could be fun... until you ask the guests to give them back. :lmao:

I like that the munks have such an exaggerated personality. It is interesting to watch their interaction with other guests and then you hope that they keep up the hilarity when it's your turn. In this instance, they didn't disappoint.

Alone time was the remedy for the moodies for sure.

Vidia was new for me so I wasn't sure.

Thanks for hanging in there with this TR.... we're nearing the end.

Vidia is the bratty fairy! Don't take it personal!

Thanks! Now that I know I feel like I don't owe another person an apology! :)

Our hair smelled like grapefruit for a few weeks after our trip. Those shampoos came back home with us. I wouldn't consider this collection quite as abundant as those Illuminations snacks in your bag....

I know exactly what you mean.

I call this one "One shampoo bottle short of an episode of Disney Hoarders"

.

Well, your morning at MK got off to an interesting start.

That's too bad that you and Em had a tiny bit of moodiness- I'm gonna blame the hungries and lack of sugar on that one, so your choice of a cookie for breakfast was the perfect remedy.

Glad your "breakup" was short-lived!

Too funny that your update covered two memorable encounters with Photopass photographers. I can't tell you how much I love that you had a great interaction with Keith and commemorated your time together with a picture.

Great meet with the FGM- love the way your cute dress coordinated with hers.

You met with my favorite characters, Chip & Dale! Sounds like that was a lot of fun.

Some nice pictures from Peter Pan and Pirates, two dark & challenging subjects!

:goodvibes

I have three grown daughters. We've had plenty of those moments where you know you need a little break from each other. Glad it was over quickly.

I'm 53 and remember The Darlings. I never made the connection with Country Bear Jamboree, but you're right! CBJ is one of my favorite classic attractions! I've gone by myself a few times because my family does not share the love.

An oatmeal raisin cookie is a perfect breakfast!

The Darlings and Oatmeal Raisin Cookie's for breakfast! You are my kind of woman. I am going to schedule "Break Up" times in my next trip-just so they don't happen. I work as an RN (so three of us say cookies are an okay breakfast.) and care for Mom with Alzhiemers so I am going to schedule some time for me to roam the parks when Mom is safe with Morgan for sainity's sake.

Hey, everyone needs a break now and then! The trick is to recognize it before things get ugly :rolleyes1

Sounds like the morning was still going well. FGM is so sweet! And an oatmeal cookie sounds just about right for breakfast to me! :)

I'm back and I'm caught up. Great pictures with the famous Main Street CM!

I can't imagine you and Em having a "moment", but going separate ways was a good idea.

Love all of the photos.

Hmm, I wonder when I'll be able to have a little time to myself after a disagreement in MK? I guess not for a while since DD is only 2! Haha. But I've certainly wanted to walk away from a tantrum or 2.

Anyway, looks like you got to meet some great characters that morning.

Sorry about your little spat that morning, but glad it didn't last long! I think it gets like that for everyone though. Glad you kept it real with us!

How funny that the photographer snagged a guest to take a pic of the two of you!

Sounds like they need a new CM over at New Fantasyland. Especially with your cute little comment about the ladies. Sheesh!

I totally believe in cookies for breakfast. I mean, you practically just had baked oatmeal with raisins right? That's how I look at it:teacher:

I'm not sure about the fairy but I do know there is one with an attitude. It's probably her. She looks like she's good at giving the 'tude!

I think in a 14 day trip, you & Em are allowed to have an "I'm annoyed with you right now!" moment! It's only normal. :goodvibes I'm glad it didn't last long though and that y'all had such a great morning with what looks to be some beautiful weather!
