Okay still working out kinks on doing this, so bear with me. Geez I am a computer programmer you would think I could master this :badpc:

For the very brief PTR. K and R have been planning a trip to the world since the beginning of this year. The invitation was thrown out that anyone could come along since they had already paid for the room. The closer the time came this free room continued to taunt me...over and over again. I kept checking plane tickets though and there was just no way we could make it.

A fellow Disney lover said check this airport that is about a 2 hour drive from here, they are normally cheaper, so I did and they were MUCH cheaper. Half the price of flying from home! :scared1: (not sure if that is the right emoticon as I wasn't really scared per say....)

So I ask my husband if it would be okay to take L to Disneyworld as a girls only trip. Please do not hit the screen when I type this next sentence, my husband does not really do Disney. :scared1: Yes, now I am scared that you all will be offended. He just doesn't get it, so he thought it was a great idea that he didn't have to go...I mean that we could go! :hyper: Only problem left was my precious baby Q. I know there is much debate as to whether to bring your baby to Disney or not, but it was going to be so hot and there was just no way I could manage both kids by myself. As much as it pained me and as much as we missed him, I knew he would be much happier and cooler at home with daddy and grandma.

In my mind the best prize is a surprise, so I figure I will surprise L and K! I get with R and we get everything sorted out. She gets us added on to their ADR List (Chef Mickey's, Coral Reef and 1900). I somehow got super lucky and got us all into TREX and even got L an appt at the Pirates League. So this was Monday and we would be leaving in 7 days!!! Now the surprise telling can begin!!!

Okay so onto the surprise revealing!!

So the day is Sunday and we will be leaving Monday. After church we set up a ribbon maze to lead Lilli to the surprise reveal. (A ribbon maze is where you set up a starting point then wind a ribbon through the entire house with clues along the way and have an ending point where the surprise is revealed).

I will insert a few pics along the way, but here is list of the clues.

1) beginning sign with cute wording "Dream come true waiting for you!, etc etc".
2) three black circles (representative of a mickey head if they were put together)
3) a pic of me and her
4) a calendar with Monday circled
5) a pic of K and R
6) an airplane
7) the letters D and W
8) disney figurines (old 80s mcdonald's toys)
9) treasure box holding lanyard with pins and vinylmations

Great fun was had by all as we followed the maze all around the house. At the end we started helping her piece everything to together. At one point she said "we are going to disneyworld" and stopped in her tracks...then went back to playing with her pins. Then I finally yelled out we are going to Disneyworld!!! To her two replies of For real???

Then the funniest thing happened...she just busted out crying and ran outside and sat in the grass. :rotfl: I think it was just too much to handle! It was perfect though and a great surprise. After the initial shock she was very excited and couldn't wait. She thought it was great that K didn't know yet either and she was going to get to help surprise someone this time! :yay:

Next surprise coming up and then we are on our way to the World!

Woo hoo for a girl's trip!!! What a wonderful way to surprise your daughter!! I am amazed that you could keep the secret that week! I would have been so excited I probably would have blurted it out by accident!!

Looking forward to more!

Okay I figure I will finish up with the pre-lim stuff.

So it is Monday, departure day! L now knows about Disney so the only person left to tell is K! I spoke with R and we had it all set up about when to call and tell her. I had really wanted to be able to show up at the hotel and knock on her door, but since we were using this other airport just wasn't going to happen.

So as we are getting everything into the car we let L Call K. We had rehearsed a little of what to say. So it pretty much went like this:

Started out typical chit chat how are you doing, where are you at now, etc.
L - K I really need you to come get me.
K - I can't L I'm in Orlando remember?
L - but K only you can pick me up!
K - I am so sorry, but I just can't right now
L - but K we are coming to disneyworld!
K - what? hello? what? FOR REAL! FOR REAL! :woohoo:

Then cue mass chaos. :yay:  :cool1: :cheer2:

R sneakily took a pic of K as she found out:
photo.jpg

So we head off to the small airport about 1.5 hours away. Along the way texts were flooding in from K as we just kept telling her everything is already all set! She was really excited which is good when you are crashing someone's vacation. You would like for them to be happy!

So my dad packed me and L up and away we drove. The drive seemed to take forever, or maybe that was just the hyper 4 year old talking non-stop the whole way! We stopped and got some food and made our way to the airport. Now this airport was out in the middle of nowhere!!! As in runway right by cow farm middle of nowhere, but it was really nice.

The one thing we were not prepared for was a huge line! Thankfully we had pre-purchased assigned seats, so was just getting our bag checked and through security. We made it pretty easily and settled in at the gate. Here is an excited little L waiting:

IMG_4816.jpg

My sister texts it is pouring down rain in FL as we were waiting. Then much to our dismay we hear "the plane will be delayed 30 minutes!". :scared1: Ugh, oh well at least it's in the air so we know it will be exactly 30 minutes which isn't bad, but still no fun :sad2:

So we wait and the plane gets here in no time. Then we start boarding. At our main aiport you walk down a hallway and onto the plane. Well at this one you walk down a hallway, into a giant concrete building, then out onto the tarmac to load. L thought this was all quite hilarious, so she had to have her pic taken as we were outside boarding the plane.

IMG_0146.jpg

The flight was uneventful and we were in Sanford before we knew it. K and L screamed a huge hello! We got our bag quickly and headed to AKL. It was a pretty long drive and was especially late for us (around 11 our time). We pretty much fell into bed, because we had an early date at Chef Mickeys (and by early I mean EARLY!) and then a special pirates league appt pirate: to be ready for.

Would we make it on only 4 hours of sleep!? Stay tuned popcorn::

What a fun way to reveal a trip to Disney. I love it! You're daughter is so cute!!!!!

Can't wait to read and SEE more. ;)

Welcome my two followers: shortstuff and reyasmommy. I was beginning to think I had done something wrong since no one was following along. I hope you enjoy the rest of our story!

Shortstuff - yes it was hard to keep a surprise, but we have a motto in our house "the best prize is a surprise!".

So I had left off we were just getting in bed at around midnight our time, 11 Mickey time :rotfl: Not knowing we were coming, R and K had breakfast reservations for 7:15 at Chef Mickey's! Very exciting until you have to wake up a 4 year old who has only slept for about 6 hours.

I was very excited too as today was when she was going to get her surprise of going to the Pirates League! pirate: I had made up a cute little paper saying she was getting to go and even had pics of the empress and mermaid options. Well let's just say after 6 hours all I heard was "I am not doing ANY!!!".:sad2: I at least was able to snap this picture of her holding her certificate. As you can see she is too tired to even open her eyes.

DSCN0406.jpg

I know my daughter and when she is tired and upset it is best to just leave her alone. So we left AKL and headed to the car. We figured driving would be the easiest since we were already cutting it close on time. So we head over to the contemporary. It has been decided at this point that I am going to get to be a pirate or a mermaid. At this point I am fearing this might really happen! :rotfl:

So we make it to Chef Mickey's in no time. We go through the get your pager get your picture and are quickly seated.

Necessary plate shot:

DSCN0411.jpg

So we set down and L is finally starting to wake up. I know we are okay when as soon as she sees Pluto she is screaming "THERE HE IS MOM!!!!". True Disney magic. :goodvibes

So I get her a plate and myself some food. Nothing really looked fantastic so I just got a few things and in no time characters were coming around. I was in mommy mode of get the autograph book out, get the picture taken, trade pins with cast members. Here are some of our choice shots. I put in a few of K and R just in case anyone gets tired of looking at me and L.

DSCN0440.jpg

We had a great time even though we were running on fumes still. Our tummies full (well all except for mommy who was too busy doing other things) we headed out to the good ole' Magic Kindgom!

On our way out we stopped at the gift shop. I had bought 10 vinyls off ebay before we left and L wanted to do her first trade. I thought it odd that at each place we went the vinyl box was pretty much hidden and most cast members acted a bit put out when you asked to trade. :confused3 They were all very nice though and normally let her pick two numbers and would show her the options and let her pick. Not sure which one she got here, but at the end I will show all the ones she ended up with.

Then we hopped the monorail and were on our way. Note that at this point I am still the one going to be pirated or mermaided! pirate:

We actually made it in time for the rope drop show. I have never seen a rope drop nor had it really ever been on my list, but it was super cute. Again, I just love watching my daughter or other kids' faces light up when they see characters.

Here is L waiting on the show...
IMG_4819.jpg

Next up we are into the Kingdom and the title starts to makes sense :scratchin

So when I left off we were finishing up watching the opening show at MK.

We had the pirate's league scheduled for 10:15, so we figured we would head to adventureland and ride what we could before the appt. At this point L was still not having the make-over so I was still the one to be pirated. I told R and K we needed to hurry and ride PoC to hopefully convince her to change her mind.

On the way to PoC we passed by the magic carpets with no line. Who can resist a little kid ride with no line! So L and I jumped in line to ride. Here we are flying above the spitting camel. Thankfully no one got wet!

DSCN0455.jpg

DSCN0457.jpg

Our next stop was PoC. The wait was only 10 minutes...which turned into really about 5 minutes of walking through the dark hallways. The ride was great and we had great fun watching for Captain Jack. L thinks any pirate is Captain Jack, so she found him a LOT. The best news was that now she wanted to be a pirate!! pirate: No make-up for me!

After the ride we were in the dump shop which is right by the pirates league. In the shop they had the cutest girl pirate costume. I had really wanted to do BBB and let her get the full package, but since it was full and we had pirates league I went ahead and got her the pirate costume. I really should have gotten one at home for cheaper, but when you only have a week you take what you can get. The pirate dress and pirate's league make over was still much cheaper than BBB anyways.

We tried to check into Pirates League about 20 minutes early and they said that they were already a bit behind so to come back right at our appt time. So we headed out to see what we can do.

We walk down a ways and see jungle cruise only has a 10 minute wait. We get in line and the sun is beating down at this point. We finally get in the shaded area and are at the rope before they let you on the boat. My sister had the plastic bag with the pirate costume in it and I grab it, rip the dress out and say "I'm going to be sick".

K and R were great and said why don't you go out and rest while we take L on the ride. Here is a pic of her and L getting ready for their cruise:

DSCN0458.jpg

I went out and saw down on the bridge by the little toy boats you can play. Well I pretty much laid down much to the amusement of the Brazilian tour groups walking by. I just felt awful and woozy. I know I didn't eat much at breakfast, but the thought of food just made me feel even more nauseous. I went and got a sprite and tried to at least keep that down.

After their cruise they came off to find me still laying on the bridge in the shade. I was at least feeling like I could walk so I said let's just go on down to the pirates league check in and wait in the shade.

We headed down and they told us it would be about 5 minutes until check in. At this point I was feeling a little bit better. Here are me and L waiting to be called. Trust me that is a fake why are you taking a picture of me when I feel like I've been run over smile.

DSCN0477.jpg

Next up the pirate's league and will I make it any further on this journey!?

We continue our tale as we are heading into the Pirates League. This was one of the highlights of the trip. I just wish I hadn't been feeling so rotten, but I made it through.

We had purchased the pirate costume at the PoC dump shop, but as soon as we checked in they let L go and change in the dressing room. From there it was on to getting a pirate name. Here we are rolling the dice:

DSCN0478.jpg

They then take the dice out and ask when their birthday is. Then they flip through a very elaborate looking book and announce a name. L was now deemed Rose Goodwater! She loved it.

DSCN0480.jpg

From there we were led back into the actual make-up room. I will have to say it was very cool looking, but really cramped. We found a seat and waited for her name to be called. It didn't take long and Rose Goodwater was called :yay:

The lady she got was very nice, but not too chatty. For my pretty shy child that was just fine. As Lilli was getting made up I went and grabbed a bag of pretzels to munch on. Honestly they tasted awful, but I kept thinking food would make it a bit better.

I will post quite a few Pirate League's pics following, but my overall opinion of it...it was AWESOME!!! :cheer2:

As I said before it is much cheaper than BBB and the girls still get glamed up with lots of make-up and nail polish. At the end when they take them into the special treasure room you also get a picture made. The picture came out really cute and for the extra $15 was well worth it to get that as well. I want to say with the pirate outfit, the empress package and the picture came to around $100.

Following is the transformation of L into Rose Goodwater the pirate empress!

:thumbsup2 This was an absolutely favorite of the trip and will always be a magical memory.

Oh my,that stinks to be queasy on your first morning in the park!! I hope it passes quickly and you feel better with a little a/c!! :goodvibes:

Your pirate empress is adorable!! I am so happy she decided to participate in the pirate league!! She is a cutie patootie!!!

I just started reading trip reports here a few weeks ago. This is my first post but I just wanted to let you know that I was reading along and that I am enjoying hearing about your trip.

:welcome:
VeryGoodAdvice!!! So glad you are following!

Nice to hear from you again ShortStuff! Glad I haven't lost anyone yet! :thumbsup2

When I left off Pirate Empress Rose Goodwater had just finished her transformation and her entrance into the room we are not to speak of (for some reason I cannot find the pirate emoticon, oh well just imagine it :rotfl:).

The pretzels seem to have helped quite a bit, so off we head. K is going to run ahead and get some FPs for BTMR while the rest of our crew heads to haunted mansion. We get the stroller parked and rush to the skip queue line ahead of a giant tour group. Thankfully we missed that chaos. We waited for about 2 minutes before we were escorted to the dead space. L did great on this ride even though she was a bit nervous. She thought most of it was funny especially the end.

Our FPs weren't good yet and we weren't too hungry, so when you are that close you can't help but go on IASW! The line was actually posted 20 minutes which is the longest I've ever seen and it looked it, but with nothing else close we got in line.

There was a huge tour group in the line next to us. They were all admiring L in her pirate get up. She was getting quite shy by the time we got up to the ride from all the attention.

Warning this is the weirdest looking picture. My head seems to not be attached to my body and L looks scared half to death, but it is the only pic from IASW so here you have it.

DSCN0500.jpg

After our cruise around the dolls we hit the restroom and decide it's time for lunch. We decided on Tortugas (?). We got there just in time before the sky opens up!!! We are under the awning, but close enough that when it falls heavily we are getting sprayed. At least we have seats and food so not much complaining. I tried to force myself to eat, but I still was just not feeling very good at all.

We waited for about 30 minutes chatting and praying the rain away. Didn't happen :worried:

Our FPs for BTMR were available thoug, so for some reason we decided to be fools and try to get to BTMR in hopes it stops raining by the time we get there. No more pics from this afternoon at least as the rain was so heavy sorry for that :(

We splish and splosh across covered in ponchos. I only brought two pairs of shoes for the whole trip (my sparkly TOMs and a pair of cheap flip flops for the pool), sadly I knew my poor TOMs were not going to make it past today and this flood of rain we were trapsing through.

We make it to BTMR only to find it is closed. Teh nice CM tells us to come back later and just tell them we couldn't use our FPs due to the rain. So we slosh back up to main street. L was in need of a nap (even though she was claiming she didn't), so the rain was a perfect diversion to leave. We were going to try to wind our way through the shops, but figured it would take longer and would be colder so we tredged up main street, on to the monorail, back to contemporary, and down to the car. Of course we make it back and the rain at least turned to a sprinkle. With feeling bad and tiredness a break was needed anyways.

I was hoping a nap would really do the trick on this sickness, so we all got to bed and took a fairly long nap.

One thing to know about L is she is not a nap kid. She stopped taking naps when she turned 1. Problem is when she does happen to take a nap (most of the time by accident) she waks up in the worst, most horrible mood EVER!!! I mean it is bad enough that we try to not let her take a nap unless it is necessary.

So as we finish our snooze we realize it is getting pretty close to dinner time. Being off by an hour was really messing things up. Bad news was I woke up feeling even worse than I did before I went to bed. With my sad soaking TOMs still wet I put on my cheap flip flops and we wake up Ms. Grumpy pants. She is refusing to put her pirate bandana on and/or brush her hair. She looks like a frump (using another DISers words). Oh well she is up.

We make our way down to the buses and the whole time I keep hearing the voice "just go back to the room, you won't make it anywas", but no I keep trekking. We make it to MK and I hear it again "stay on the bus do not get off". But no we keep going. We make it in and head to cosmic rays. I feel again like if I could just eat I would feel better. So K and R head off with L to get some chicken nuggets. It is at this point that i lose it. Yes I know the rule of no crying in Disney, but I sat there in the middle of Cosmic Rays on teh phone with DH sobbing. I had worked so hard on this whole trip and came up with this great surprise and now it was all ruined because I was sick. K and L came back and L was of course very worried as to why I was crying. I got myself back together and ate I think half of one chicken nugget. L ate her entire plate which for her is a miracle! The child must have been starving.

K and R keep telling me to just go back to the room that they can keep L, but it just makes me so sad to have to miss the magic of MK. I decide to trek on for a bit longer. We make it around into Fantasy Land with my mind churning. If I stay and keep getting sick then tomorrow when it is just me and her will be even worse. If I leave and get some rest then hopefully tomorrow will be better. We get to the carousel and I break down. I tell R and K that there is no way I can make it tomorrow by myself with her if I stay tonight. It was so hard to leave and I cried the whole way out. I had left the stroller and everything with them and only had my purse. I realized I had no plastic bag for just in case, so as I walked out at the last kiosk I grabbed a bag from the guy.

I got to the bus stop just as an AKL bus pulled up. There were only 5 other people on the bus and then I proceed to puke. Yes in front of everyone on the bus. I was so embarssed and I am pretty sure I scarred the poor high school couple for life. My apologies to them and the other people on the bus. I just buried my head in my lap and sat with my full plastic bag. Ugh I was humiliated, sick and sad. Good news was I actually felt a bit better. The thought even crossed my mind of going back to MK, but I knew better this time.

The bus made it back and I made a beeline for the room. I took some meds and laid down. All the while knowing I made the right decision because now tomorrow could be better, but knowing I was missing magic.

Sorry for the lack of picturs this update, but between sick and rain there were not many. Trust me there will be more next post!

Coming up next, the other side of the evening at MK that does not involve puking on buses. R, K and L take on the kingdom at night!

Now we have the evening of MK as told by the healthy people of the group R, K and L. I might have the order of rides off, but you can tell they did quite a bit.

I left them off at the carousel and from there they used some FPs to ride Peter Pan (I think we picked those up in the morning after IASW).

From there they hoped a ride on the carousel.
DSCN0521.jpg

Then it was on to Winnie the Pooh
DSCN0520.jpg

Then on to Mickey's Philharmagic or as L said MICKEY'S FEEL MY MAGIC! :3dglasses

DSCN0522.jpg

That was all the rides they managed I think before they got their spot for the parade and Wishes. Lilli loved the parade and the fireworks! Here are a few of her in her front row stroller view.

DSCN0533.jpg

DSCN0541.jpg

I had given K some money and told her that L could pick out any souvenir she wanted sicne we hadn't really bought anything yet. L just couldn't decide on anything, but decided she would get some of those pick your own color M&Ms at the main street bakery.

She picked out her colors and then got in line to pay. She puts her bag and her money on the counter. The CM leans over and says "Mickey Mouse told me he wanted to buy these for you as a special treat" and handed her back her money and the M&M. :wizard: There you have it, I missed the best magical moment of the trip.

Every TR I have ever read someone enounters one of these moments and they are alway so precious. I cannot believe it missed it, but at least she got to experience it and had a great night at MK with her beloved K and R.

They got back to the room and I will have to be honest, I heard them, but was still not feeling the best so I faked asleep so L wouldn't pester me all night long. It worked and before long we were all fast asleep. Tomorrow was AK for me and L and Epcot for R and K. Then for dinner we were all meeting at Epcot for a special Coral Reef dinner.

Would I make it? Would L have any more magic moments? Stay Tuned!!!

The next morning was Animal Kingdom just me and L! K and R were going to Epcot and plan was for us to meet up with them for dinner at Coral Reef.

I awoke feeling better, but so weak. Thankfully no nausea, but I wasn't sure if my feet could carry me very far. I had a talk before we left and told L there might be lots of breaks today and she was fine with that. We boarded the bus to AK and were off. Does it just seem this way to me or does it seem to take FOREVER to actually make it into AK. I guess that first oasis part that we always just skip through takes up a lot of space.

So our first stop was Dinosaur! L had wanted to ride it after we watched the video and it is one of my favorites. :woohoo: So we got there and wait was 20 minutes. I was already feeling it from our hike in, so we sat down rested for a minute then took our misty mate and got in line. Here she is posting my the giant dinosaur head.

IMG_0151.jpg

As we got closer my knees just kept feeling weaker and weaker. I do have a tendency to get car sick so I just kept praying that I wouldn't get car sick from the ride. We made it through line and were in the back row of our rover. L was a bit scared  but she made it through. Our rover was filled with college kids acting crazy and they of course made a dash to see their silly ride pics. we didn't get a chance to see them because they were too busy laughing at the little girl in the car...which would be L!!! I wish I could have gotten a look because they were for sure cracked up. :rotfl:

We walked around the gift shop and contemplated buying DS a dinosaur something, but nothing really grabbed us. L did grab one of those lovely giant swirly suckers...you know the ones where the wrapper gets thrown away and then the kids want you to hold them after 2 licks adn the stickiness is everywhere...yeah we got one of those.

We headed out to the stroller and L was kind enough to sit in her stroller while I sat on the ground and rested. Next we headed further into dinoland. As we passed by I looked at the times for the Nemo show. Nemo is one disney movie L will actually sit still for, so I thought we might try to sneak it in. Not a must do though.

We head for a MUST DO of tri-tops. Or dumbo meets dino. The wait was 5 minutes. I was really feeling it now so like a goober I had to sit down in the line. I didn't care though, I was going to make it through today! :thumbsup2

Tri-tops was great. Then we headed for the midway games. DH is great at these, me not so much. We made sure we were the only ones playing so L would at least win something. We played the water squirt one and as luck wold have it L won! ;) Funny how my squirter just wasn't as fast as hers.

We played one other game and randomly I did win something. She was done with dino land so we headed out with her new blue shark and red bat (re-named sharky and Bones like from Jake and the Neverland Pirates).

The only other thing on her list was the Safari. We headed out of Dino-land and I realize the Nemo show is about to start in 10 minutes. She says that she wants to go so we book it over. Let me tell you that theater is WAY far away from where you think it is. We hoofed it over and made it in plenty of time. It felt so good to just sit and put my feet up. Is it me though or does it seem like none of the inside things are as air conditioned anymore? Nemo was hot inside and even the Dinosaur line inside was hot. Oh well at least we had good seats.

The show started and we got the shark part and all of the sudden the actors ran off stage. The announcer came on with some speech of teh show will resume in just a minute please remain seated. I looked at L who looked bored out of her mind so I said do you just want to go...she said yes!

We went out and got our stroller. As we looked back teh entire theater was emptying so still not sure what happened. We treked over to the safari. the wait time was 40 minutes and the fastpass return was in 40 minutes, so I said let's get fasspasses, go eat and pizzafari and then come back.

I forced myself to eat and we had a nice rest. Then it was on to Safari. We loaded our bus and had a great ride. We saw LOTS of animals even though it was mid day. L just kept screaming every time she saw a giraffe (the girl loves giraffe) so the nice people behind us kept telling her everytime they would glimpse one. Here are the only two pics I have of the safari...both of some random creature named L.

She was about done and we had done all we wanted to do. AK is not our favorite park, but there are things we want to do there so it is a pretty relaxing day. She finally did buy one thing there, a baby Marie kitty. So now the stroller holds Sharky, Bones and Marie. We got some ice cream and headed out.

The bus came quick and we went to the room. Since last afternoon she threw such a fit about getting ready after the nap I went ahead and got her changed for dinner. I told her we would rest and then just see when we woke up. She obliged with getting dressed and I will give her credit she tried so hard to rest. She laid and laid. I snoozed in and out for about 20 minutes, but was feeling MUCH better. So I turned her on a Jessie and told her we would leave for Epcot when Jessie was over. It worked out perfect and even though she didn't technically sleep she was more rested...or at least I thought :confused3.

We made it down to the bus for Epcot and were off to meet R and K. By this time I was feeling at least 90% better. So we were ready to go and finish up with a super fun night at Epcot!

There will be lost more pictures next post. With only two people adn being sick it's hard to take pictures.

Next post we are in Epcot!

As we were walking into Epcot K texted and said that Daisy and Stitch were right inside for pics. We can't resist characters (even though L has no idea who Stitch even is). So we stopped by. We were the last ones to go before they took their breaks, so perfect timing!

Next I was trying to keep L from going crazy wanting to ride the ball while we waited to K and R. We finally found them and walked onto the ball. L was super excited about the ride because one of her friends had ridden it a month earlier and it was her favorite. So off we went.

As we were going K yelled out HANDS UP as we went by the camera just being funny. Well someone I guess it thought my hand was my head, so our future photo ended up a person with an arm for a head. We thought that was pretty funny.

After that we headed over for some fun with Nemo. We walked straight onto the ride and that is when I could tell L hadn't gotten enough rest. She wasn't being really bad, but her whining voice was coming out. We walked through the aquarium and she decided she wanted to do Turtle Talk. Well she wouldn't sit with the kids on the floor so there was no chance she would get picked. So we just sat and listened. It was pretty good.

Next we decided to hit up club cool. I don't really let L drink much pop, so she was excited to get to try so many different ones. Here she is with her cup of free goodness.

We came out to find the rain was starting. It was POURING! It was almost time for our coral reef reservations so we headed that way. I had my TOMS on again and was not going to walk around with wet shoes all night, so I did the most awful thing...I walked around barefoot to Coral Reef. It was gross, but at least my shoes stayed dry. By now L was getting more than a little cranky...that all changed for a minute at least when we got to our seats which were right by the tank!!!

Dinner was good and we even got to see a scuba diving group go by as we were eating. They were entertaining and several waved. A little food at least helped settle L down for a bit, but I knew that it wouldn't be for long.

We headed out and saw two cute chipmunks that had to be met.

After that we decided to ride Figment. I do not remember this ride at all, but it was cute. We stayed and played in the after room FOREVER. We, along with every other parent in the place, had to throw out some pretty big bribes to get her out. Ice cream was one that didn't work, but finally an Agent P mission promise got her attention.

L hadn't done much pin trading up to this point and with her mood I figured maybe I could get her happy by having her do some trades. There were two CM's outside so she grabbed her lanyard. Each had a different one of these really cool big square pins with a character and their name. So we got those and I said "how about we try to collect that whole series?". She got really excited about that and now we were on a mission.:woohoo:

Up next we continue around the world and will our pin collection mission be a success?
