Yeah, I know I was personally shocked that I got it. The cm told me there was several one bedroom standard rooms left, kind of weird I thought.

I'm confused because the standard views face the driveway and the porte cochere. I don't see how the Atlantic Dance Hall fits into that geography.

Are you booking with DVC points? If so, there are no standards near Atlantic Dance Hall. As Bobbi said, standards are facing the front driveway and pond.

If you are booking through CRO, they frequently upgrade to pool/garden view, which you could face the Swan down near Atlantic Dance Hall. But beware, it's a long walk.

Sounds like she had it confused with a pool/garden. You may want to double check the member website to make sure she used standard points.

Well i do know that the points are correct because the standard bwi room we received was 2 points more than okw. Now I think I need to call ms and speak to another cm about my request.....

If you are all the way down the SV hall, you will be near the canal, and will be able to see the Tower of Terror, so, yes, that's a great view, but it is far walk from the elevators.

yes and it is not DVC.

Will be leaving my 1BR standard view in the morning to go home

It is pretty much over the walkway to the bus stop and the view of illuminations has been wonderful but it is about as far from Atlantic Dance Hall as you can get so I think you definitely need to rethink your requests. We are close to the stairwell that goes to the quiet pool and the bus stop which is good but it is a hike to the lobby and boardwalk itself. We are on the 3rd floor and that is also good. Hope you have a great trip

I just got back from a 2 bdrm at BWV about 2 weeks ago...booked at 5 months...pool/garden view. I was shocked when I booked it. So there is always hope
