I've been to disney enough and should know my own kids enough to know what to do here but i'm torn... My younger kids will be 6y 9m and 4y 7m at the time of our trip. I have a double mac stroller we used last year and it worked would great, i just feel like my middle child is old enough she really doesn't need it and a single would be easier... And maybe we should just rent a single stroller this time, mind you we've never been with a single stroller ALWAYS taken a doulbe from home. but maybe not this time??? i'm not sure with it being peak season at spring break i'm kinda worried about the running out does that happen??? Should i just go buy a mac volo and take it? or suck it up and take the double???

We are heading back in March and we are renting from www.orlandostrollerrentals.com again! We rented a double for our August trip from them and it was awesome. DS7 and DD5 loved it so we sare doing it again. Check out the video of how the single and double fold on their site and you will not believe it. The double is a $400 stroller and I am not interested in owning it so this is perfect. The canopy, how it folds and reclines makes this a no brainer. Shannon delivered the stroller at the exact time we wanted it and she let us keep it later in the day for no extra charge and it allowed us to have a longer stay our last day which was fantastic!

there is a mac volo stroller swap on the budget board you may want to check it out and see if your dates are available and you may not need to purchase one.

Go with one stroller.

I'm bringing my Mac Quest this trip. I know my DS4 will not sit in a stroller at WDW, he's just too excited.

A single is so much easier to navigate around the parks than a double!

I think i just need to buy a single there have been a few times now i wish i had one to use now that my middle dd is in school and i just have one at home, ect. i love the strollers for rent on that site, i actully almost bought one for our trip last year but ended up with the mac double. and finally saw a city stroller a few weeks ago shopping and it was HUGE! I've got a few more months to decide.

was it heavy with both kids-my girls will be 8 and 5 and DD8 has a muscle disorder so will get very tired and need a stroller, was thinking of just renting in the park because of her size-did your children seem comfy-enough room for the 7 yr old?
thanks

I have a bjcm single stroller and absolutely love it I bought it for my 5yr old who doesn't walk and both her and my eight yr old have plenty of room in it and it is a breeze to push especially one handed.

It was not hard to push with both in it and they are a combined 100lbs which is the suggested limit (although i think it can handle more). With one child in it I can push and maneuver it with one hand easily. The wheels must be really good. The park strollers are not anywhere nearly as comfortable. We have used them before and DD was not happy with the hard plastic. I also noticed that the park strollers do have a weight limit which I did not realize and it is under 100 lbs for a double (although never enforced). DS7 is 52 inches and 55lbs and fits comfortably when he hops in.
