Yep, I took a picture of that (9100 total) COMPLETED 9/1

Thank You for sharing your wonderful stroy. Your family is beautiful, and your pictures are out of this world!!!

May I ask what kind of camera you used? Really, I was taken back by how some of those pictues came out, just gorgeous!

(sorry if someone already asked, I might have missed it)

Thanks!

Another great update! I wish that you had posted some Ohana food porn. Love that dessert....:lovestruc The pineapple drinks are great - aren't they?

Thank you so much! Really I didn't think it would hold up compared to some of the reports out there! The camera is a Nikon Coolpix P80. It's kind of a hybrid between a compact "point and shoot" and a DSLR. The lens doesn't come off or anything, it's just to big to put in your pocket. I'm hoping next year to get a DSLR and hang with the big boys but we shall see ;) I've played around a tad with editing the night shots with photoshop and they really come out nice, but whatever I posted here was right out of the camera and no editing except maybe a crop on one or two.

The story is almost coming to an end, but not just yet. Give me a few more days and we will wrap it all up!

No food porn! We gotta keep this kid friendly Ms. Dolce! The pineapple drinks were good but I'm telling you, the second one had a real kick to it! Put it this way, when we got back to the monorail I was a little worried it was going to fall off the rail :rotfl2:

Great videos! We're gonna have to keep an eye out for the pirate tutorial - looks like fun!!!

Great videos. I've never stuck around long enough to catch the Pirate Tutorial before. Your kids are cute.

Sorry about the delay in posts. Work has been killing me lately...

Yes, I must laugh. :rotfl2: After all the flack you gave me in my TR for not updating fast enough. You'll be kinder to everyone now when you read their TR's - won't you? ;)

I'll be here, waiting to read (and see) some more of you and your lovely family when you next update.

It was a blast. I was so happy and excited the first time I read about it in someone else's trip report that I showed Tina right away and read up on it as much as I could. We talked about it for MONTHS and never mentioned it to the boys. It was SOOOOOO worth it!

I only gave flack on the great reports! But yes, I will be good from now on:thumbsup2

There will be a new update tomorrow. I tried posting it tonight but apparently I have exceeded my bandwidth for the month. Maybe I did take one too many pictures:confused3

Ok, I think I have something worked out. The pictures up to this point will be back up when my bandwidth gets refreshed.

Now before I start this next update I want everyone to wish Tina (NurseInTraining)

HAPPY 29th BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Monday June 8th, Day 9.

It’s all starting to hit us now that this is the last our last full day at the most magical place on earth. As much as we love being here we were kind of looking forward to getting home to some structure. There was one thing left on our checklist of things we MUST DO. And that thing can only be found at the Hollywood Studios. We woke up and had breakfast a little late and were out the door around 11:30. Tina and Mommom Ginny went down to the gift shop by themselves for a little souvenir shopping in piece and quiet. I brought the boys down shortly after in search of some pictures I hadn’t gotten of the Marketplace. Before we came down this year, I would look through the pictures of the Beach Club in the “Resorts” section on the boards and just dream about being there. Some of the shots that made my heart melt were simple ones in the gift shop and at the bakery so I figured I’d pass some on for the next group of visitors……..

Is it me or does that muffin just make your mouth water? I grabbed one for the ride to Hollywood, along with a few other small purchases and off we went.
We and headed out to the lighthouse to catch our transportation for the day and I noticed a few small fish just swimming around the pier without a care in the world. I threw them a few crumbs from my muffin and all of their friends decided to get in on the action.

Sorry boys, there’s just not enough to go around, the rest is all mine. With a tear in my eye, I realized that this was going to be the last morning we’d all be standing here as a family waiting for a ride to the Time of Our Lives. For a moment I felt like I was leaving home and wouldn’t be back for quite some time. Almost heartbroken, I took a few pictures just to remind myself just how perfect things are.

Several times this week I would whisper in the boys ears to just look around and remember just how beautiful everything is. I really want them to remember how great of a time we had. As much as we can’t wait to go back, you never know what tomorrow brings. In my mind, if something were to happen to me tomorrow, I’d want both boys to tell their kids how much fun they had with their dad here 20 yrs from now. If you’ve been reading this report from page one you’d get it, if you’re just joining us……Welcome Aboard!

Sorry about the babbling, on with the report! So, just after noon we arrived at the Studios only to find out that Sounds Dangerous is closed for the day!

dis549.jpg

Oh no! Now the whole day is ruined!!! Just kidding. From what I’ve heard and read, there’s no way we would have been going anyway.

Making our way through the turnstiles, with me lagging behind to take pictures of coarse, we head right for the only “must do” on our list.

Finally……

Tina got the boys together and grabbed the valuables from the stroller as I snapped a few pictures from the outside.

I even noticed that this was a speaker piping in music to the crowds.

First we grabbed fastpasses and with a 40 minutes wait time posted, we head in. Of course, as soon as we got in line the CM yelled back that it was now upgraded to 50 minutes. Still, no fears, 50 minutes isn’t too bad for a ride right? What’s an extra 10 minutes? Well, the if he were right, I would have been happy with that. Total time? 140 minutes! Yep, that’s right 1 hour and 20 minutes! I tried to find the bright side anyways, more time means more pictures!
