Yep, I took a picture of that (9100 total) COMPLETED 9/1

I LOVE all the pictures!!!

The McQueen hats are so cute. My DS3 was here when your little guy had on the "Mickey Ears" cars hat and he looks and says "ohhh can I get that"!

Tina is on top of it! I forget towels when we go to swim lessons or a friends pool - forget downtown Disney!!! Thats great!

Cant wait to hear more!

It sounds like you were having a great day. The boys looked like they were having a blast in those water fountains. The Captain Jack costume is great, I am glad you found what you were looking for. Thanks for sharing all your pictures. I saw a lot of Christmas ornaments that I would like to have.
Thank you! I knew someone would see something and say hmmm, I want that!

Logan loved the McQueen ears but went with the big foam hat instead. I'm sure we'll get the ears next time we go:laughing: Tina is great, and she knows I'd be lost without her! I feel bad when she forgets something because she beats herself up over it. If I had half her smarts, we'd be set for life! :lmao:

Those pictures from the fountain were priceless. Your kids looked as if they were having a blast!

They really were! We could really spend almost a whole day there, before they both got bored. Tina grabbed her camera and took a picture of me taking pictures. I was enjoying it, as much as they were, just watching them laugh and have fun.

Hey, someone had to hold Logans hat!

I was just going to tell you what a great choice in hats. I too saw a bunch of ornaments I want, whether or not I can have them, well that's a different story.

Thanks for the  can never have too many! The Beach Club is so convenient for walking to Epcot and The Studios and everything is just so perfect! As much as I'd love to see some of the other hotels, I have a feeling the Beach Club will always be the one we stay at. I have to warn you, once you try it, you will be back!

The hat is pretty cool, it just stinks they won't let me wear it to work :rotfl: The ornaments are very nice (cough Ebay cough) but it's hard to find them outside the parks (cough)

I do have an update ready but I have to get the pics uploaded. Hopefully It'll be up by Tues afternoon. Goodnight everybody!

So, after our well deserved three hour rest back at the pool and up in our room, we head out. I could really get used to seeing this every time we left home.

We walked over to the bus stop to hitch a ride over to Magic Kingdom, and within five minutes we are on our way.

dis033.jpg

dis035.jpg

We get to the main gates and rush through the turnstiles only to see thousands of people trying to push their way to a better view of Spectromagic. I hopped up on the wall going around the train station and grabbed a few pictures

But then I noticed that the boys were having a hard time seeing the parade. I handed over the camera (yea, I know) and grabbed both Nate and Logan so they too could enjoy the show. I know that it would be practically impossible, but I wish Disney could set up an area for only kids to be in. I know it’s not safe and the parents would miss the show because they would be watching their kids the whole time, but really the kids have such a hard time seeing over all the adults cramming together so they can see it too. Tina took care of the rest of the pictures. I have to hand it to her, for holding the camera over her head, she really did a good job in my opinion.
Here’s me and the boys….

And what she could barely see of the parade…..

After the parade we fought our way down Main Street to try to find a spot for wishes. We ended up not to far from the main hub and I was surprised how many people were trying to get away from there. I kind of felt like running away myself, but when the show started, the pushing stopped and everybody just froze to enjoy the show. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve seen it, it’s still absolutely beautiful and, to most people, a little emotional.

I’m telling you, it’s by far the best fireworks presentation I’ve ever seen. If a township put out something like that in our area, it would probably make the morning papers the next day! We walked through the hub and waited in front of the Castle for it to open so we could pass through.

but after 10 minutes we just walked around it. I love the murals and really wanted to get another glimpse since this was the first trip we actually went in, but we just didn’t feel like waiting and the boys were itching to get on Dumbo. The line read 20 minutes and it was pretty much right on the money. I don’t know what it is about Dumbo, but it’s always a favorite for most kids and quite a few adults! I do remember riding Dumbo when I was about Nate’s age, and hopefully he will remember it when he’s mine.

After we got off the kids wanted to hop right back on but the wait time was now 25 minutes so we promised to do it again before the trip was over and moved on. This trip, we really wanted to do a lot of things we never tried before so we headed over to Snow White’s Scary Adventure. I was a little worried that Logan would be scared during it because I’ve heard people say it is scary at times but he was a trooper, although, once was enough for him! I know I’m going to hear about it but I really did try to get some pictures without a flash and it just wasn’t going to happen, so here’s my cheater shots….

Another ride we never did last year was Peter Pan (what DID we do last year?) Logan wasn’t sure of the whole flying through the air thing so we stuck close together and he loved every minute of it.

By now it’s just after midnight and the park was really clearing out. We had one more extra magic hour left but we were getting a little tired. The carousal was a walk on line so we figured we’d do that and head out.

The boys wanted to test their strength at pulling out the sword

But it just wasn’t in the cards for them to be King tonight.

As we walked down Main Street we glanced over and noticed Adventure Land. How come we never went in there? Huh. We stopped in to see what we were missing and there were no lines for just about everything, SWEET!

We ran over to the Magic Carpet and got spit on by a snooty camel!

Hopped off and saw a 5 minute wait time for the Jungle cruise!
159.jpg

The cruise itself isn’t anything to write home about, but this guy really had me cracking up.

156.jpg

We did do it again later on in the trip, but really the guide makes the trip and it just wasn’t the same. He was very good and if you see him on the boat, hop on and thank me later!

By now it’s about 12:40 and everybody is feeling it. We make our way out of adventure land and low and behold, I see this.

Now, to the average tourist this may seem like just another stand selling ice cream and soda. But I, on the other hand, have read thousands upon thousands of posts on the Disboards, and I knew it was so much more. This, my friend, is the Pineapple Mecca. I stopped and grabbed a Dole Whip with a side of pineapple juice. Let me say one thing. WOW. It was out of this world and lived up to the hype. Maybe it was the dehydration talking, but I wanted to take some back to Philly with me. Anyways, kids asleep already we walked down Main Street for a final time stopping at the bakery for some sticky buns for breakfast in the morning. Tonight was definitely a good night and we were all exhausted. Knowing partially what we were doing tomorrow we were excited, but all fell quickly to sleep.

Tomorrow…..let’s just say the boys met a man, who they will never forget!

Great update, We did Snow White last trip for the first time with GiGi, I thought she would be scared also, but she loved it.

I am more nervous about our next trip. I am not a thrill ride seeker and neither is my husband or oldest son. But GiGi, she has no fear and will meet all height requirements by our next trip.

I can't wait till the boys can do EVERYTHING at the parks! Nate it really getting gutsy. We just went on the log flume at a park in PA last weekend for the first time. Logan on the other hand is taking his time.....hopefully by next year they will want to do the Tower of Terror!:yay:

Your wife's "over the head" shot of Spectro came out pretty good! Kudos to her and kudos to you for being such a good dad!

Thank you! I only hope they see me as a good dad too. She really did do well. When I saw her taking pictures but not really able to see the screen I had my doubts, but as usual she surprised me.

Ok, all caught up again! Love the Spectro pictures your wife took, great job for "shooting over the head"! ;) It is amazing how crowded it gets!
I really like the photo of your guy trying to pull out the sword while standing on the stone! That is priceless! :rotfl:
Beach Club..... some day! It looks so nice, especially Storm Along Bay...

It did get pretty crowded, but only at the parades when everybody in the park crowds around the same place. Beach Club is great but I'd never be able to do it at rack rate. Rent the DVC points when you go to do it. You don't qualify for free dining or deals like 4/3, but it can be much cheaper if there are no specials for the date you want to go.:thumbsup2

I heard at one time time long ago, they had Merlin out there and certain boys and girls would be able to pull the sword out of the stone. I am glad that it's still there, I just wish they did the show once in a while again:confused3
