Yellowstone swap resorts?

Hello,

We are currently thinking about traveling to Yellowstone. Does anyone know is there are any resorts we can swap our points for in the area? Thank!

Through DVC's World Collection (II)? There is a Worldmark in West Village (fairly close to the gate). Island Park Village is a bit farther out. Both are "location" resorts ... not particularly "destination" resorts. That is, you trade into the location for its proximity to Yellowstone ... not for the features of the resort itself.

Last I checked (pre-Covid), the WM was nearly impossible to trade into during the summer months -- but shoulder seasons were an easier trade.

EDITED to ADD: As a WM owner, I just checked the WM West Yellowstone for next summer (June, July, Aug). There are a few "1 night" stays here and there in the smallest and largest unit types ... but not much more than that. The 2BR configurations are entirely sold out ... and I only saw one possible stay for "2 nights in the same room type." Inventory is really tight! That said, it may be largely held by speculative reservations that could free up later ... I'd expect to see things loosen about 30 days from travel based on WM's reservation cancellation policy.

Once logged into the site, use the "Resort Directory" from the menu bar, far right side.
