Hi,
Leaving next week for WDW...when you fly out of T.O. do you use the yellow luggage tags? I thought canadians had to claim their own luggage?
Thanks

Hello!

We flew out of Toronto in February, and we used our Magical Express tags without a problem. We went through customs in Toronto, so we just got off the plane in Orlando and headed for the Disney Welcome Center!

Have fun!

DME will claim your luggage for you upon arrival at MCO if you use the yellow tags. If you choose not to use the tags (say, because you arrive really late at night) then you must claim them yourself. It's the departure from Orlando that you need to take care of your own luggage for. They will not take it to the airport, so you need to schlep it onto the DME bus with you.

usually at MCO you take your luggage off the one belt and throw it onto the belt where customs looks at it.. Then ME takes it from there. Takes all of two minutes.

But if their departure point in Canada is Pearson, won't they already have cleared Customs? Customs won't need to look at it again. When we left Winnipeg, we cleared Customs in Winnipeg and DME picked up our luggage for us at MCO and we never saw it from the time we left Winnipeg until we were in POFQ.
