Question on a lot of trip reports I've seen people talking about their FP's then their yellow FP? What are their yellow fast passes? They seem connected to a yellow magic band? I'm confused

I never read this is any trip report. I thikn disneyland had/has a yellow fastpass for which world of color showing you had a fastpass for but they use a completely different system there.

If you have a link we can probably help you sort out what they are talking about, I did some searching and I came up with nothing.

I thought it might be the same thing. DLR issues yellow (and blue) FPs for Fantastic and WOC which aren't connected to the regular FP system. But of course, DLR doesn't have MBs at all

We received some "bonus" FPs when we got stuck on PotC for over an hour on one trip. FP+ was brand new then (in fact, they pulled all the old FP machines out during our week there). It was just a paper ticket with info about where you could use it, and boxes for the CM to check off the reason it was given. I think maybe those paper tickets were yellow??? Maybe that's what you read about? I've heard of people getting something similar for problems with their room reservations, etc., although I think they generally just scan and add FP+ to your Magic Bands in those cases now. Of course, not everyone uses MBs, so maybe those paper ones are still around.
