We just returned from a week at the Fort - we were able to get 1514!
But the fly situation was really not that bad by the time we got there... I don't know if it was because we used spray with DEET and had a screened in add a room, but I didn't really come across them at the beach or the camp fire sing a long. We saw maybe 8 or so...
Funny story...
We had prepared the 2 DDs (7 and 4) for the possibility of the flies biting them.
Well the 4 yr old was on the lookout - majorly. Anything that flew by, she swore was a yellow fly. Well, we came back to camp from a long day/night at MK when something must have grazed her ankle. She immediately went down
"I've been bit by a yellow fly!" Tears flowing, prepared to die type of thing.
I picked her up and put her on the bunk and there was nothing there. The only red mark was where she grabbed her ankle!
I am suprised security wasn't called!
Poor girl was spooked the rest of the trip!
