Oh, you make me all teary eyed too and soooo excited for our cruise. It seems like so long away now but then again it seems like only yesterday when you wrote your other trip report over a year ago!

Kelly - I would have been the same way sitting there, too! I'm soooo not a rule breaker and get nervous at the thought! LOL

How wonderfully nice it is to meet your special friend and have so many fun and exciting things happen BEFORE you even got on the ship!

And I could tell you raised a very polite and very grateful little girl -- way to go Mom!

The boarding part of your TR had me close to tears because I cry every time they call our name, too! We'll be taking our kids onboard for the very first time in a few months and I'm going to be such a basket case! Can you say waterproof mascara??!! LOL!

Can't wait for more!

Wow, another great installment. I just got finished reading tr #1 and got pretty teary eyed at all the pixie dust you encountered. I am a sap too and I even cry while watching the planning vids.

I'm with the others, I want that cover up for my dd for our cruise too. Maddie looked so adorable.

Glad things got off to a good start after that disastrous last trip home.

I have reread your last trip report while waiting for this one as a way to get excited for our first Disney Cruise. I read your first trip report when I first joined these boards awhile back. . I was touched by your love for your daughter and your enthusiasm. Having been on 6 Disney Cruises I know how wonderful they are and have enjoyed reading your story. Can't believe you just went. We went Aug 16th-23rd Back to Back. Glad you got to get onboard early....on the turnaround we had to go back through the terminal and then reboard. I know the CM you speak of and he got us on early also. It was sooo much fun roaming an empty ship. Can't wait to hear the rest....

I can't believe it's been over a year since we all were on the Wonder. I still can't believe we were at the Dolphins with you and Maddie and never met you! Thanks for writing another trip report; I'm curious to know what's different this year on the Wonder. We haven't been on another cruise, but we're thinking maybe 2009 when my 20 year old graduates from college. She may not want Disney, though since she'll be legal to do all that casino stuff! I'm hoping for Disney, though!

We did go back to Disney World this summer and discovered that no two trips are the same. What was super special last year wasn't so cool this year, and we had new special moments! I can't wait to read all about your trip!

Kelly, i am so glad to read another TR from you! I remember reading your last TR last year.. and we chatted b/c i am taking my (going to be)7 yr old dd on a DCL trip next year, and i was concerned taking her by myself.. and you totally showed me that it can be such a magical mother/daughter thing.. now i can't wait!!!
We are going on our first family DCL this year, and then next yr, just me and my dd are going (well, not totally alone, i will be with my inlaws.. but you know what i mean).
Thanks for writing such a great report so far, i just love reading about the great relationship that you and your dd clearly have with each other.. It is really touching. I already have tears reading your report,and we haven't even gotten past the boarding!! LOL Can't wait for more!!

I think that is so nice that it is just the two of you.......what fun it must be ! I have one question for you - I noticed you said you left your luggage outside the night before while staying at the hyatt. Do they handle the luggage from there to the ship? We were thinking about staying there next September and I was just wondering how that goes...........

Hi, i am not the OP here, but yes, from what i know, you put your luggage out in the hall, and DCL takes it and you don't see it til later when you are on the ship.. You just keep your day bag.HTH

I so want to take a cruise but no one will go with me. I get motion sickness and so do my parents. I am 30 this year and never gone. I am determined too.
