We got back from our trip on October 17, and I thought you all would like this story..
We were in the Emporium store on Main St with our almost 4 year old daughter Emma..We were having her try on a Cinderella costume, and three women who worked there came up to us and asked her if she would like to be a Fairy Godmother in training. ..Of course we said yes, so they took her up to the front of the store, where there was a Cinderella display. They proceeded to call over everyone that was in the store and grabbed people from Main St to watch. They read some passages from a Cinderella book, and had Emma choose what accessories Cinderella would wear...tiera, shoes, purse, necklace, wand, etc.
After she chose these items, one by one, they asked Emma what the Fairy Godmother says..Emma responded with "Bippity Boppity BOOM!" (lol).
They told her to open the box which the manequin was standing on and grab what was inside..there was a wand and a certificate for Emma stating that she was a Fairy Godmother in training!
Everyone on the crowd just got a kick out of it, as did I. I think I was more excited than Emma was! The three women thanked Emma, and said it was part of the year of the million dreams celebration.
I had read so much about this year of a million dreams, I was so happy to be a little part of it..
