Hello My DIS Friends !,
This is gonna be a Pretty Long Story For You, and Thank Heaven that I am feeling up to where I am able to tell it to you.
I hope that you will enjoy this.
Before I begin this Story, I am gonna have to inform you that My Actual Birthday is on September 8th.
Now, I am gonna take you back to The Middle of September ......
Give Or Take, On Or Around Wednesday September 17th, 2008.
I`m Talking about My Mom giving Me A Birthday Celebration I would Never Thought I would Be Getting in Reality, A Birthday Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table, A Lifetime Losing Streak I have had with National Big Name Entertainment Promoted Contests Or Giveaways FINALLY being BROKEN in The Aftermath of a Few HARD Times .
I have been A Disney Fan almost ALL My Life since My First Trip to Walt Disney World back in 1983, When There was just Magic Kingdom, and Newly Opened at the Time .... Epcot Center.
Granted .... I have been a Fan of a Few well, NON Disney Things in Entertainment, too.
But I have ALWAYS Loved Disney ABOVE ALL OTHER Names in Entertainment.
My Mom Tried to Fix Me Up for My Actual 30th Birthday On
Monday September 8th, But She was not able to.
But My Mom was able to Fix Me Up For Wednesday September 17th with A Birthday Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table.
Well, Wednesday September 17th Got More Magical For Me than what I Expected.
On That Magical Wednesday Morning, My Mom and I got ready to go to the Parks, We took The Monorail from The Contemporary Resort
" Where we Stood for 3 Full Days " to The Magic Kingdom.
When Mom and I Entered The Magic Kingdom, We took a Ride on The Railroad Train That Circles The Park to The Train Station in Mickey`s Toontown Fair, and Who did I See? One of The Ladies From The Disney Dream Squad ..... Waving to me in The Back of The Princesses` Tent.
Now, Forgive me, but Originally, If I found ANY of The Ladies from The Disney Dream Squad, I was gonna ask them for Their Autographs in the Hopes of Building A Treasure in Memory of The Year of A Million Dreams.
As My Mom and I went into The Tent to meet The Princesses,
I asked One of The Hostesses Basically If The Dream Squad was in There, She did not tell me Straight, but she Played A Part in Helping me Make This Magical Moment Happen. When My Turn Came to meet The Princesses, I entered The Room, and I saw Cinderella, Princess Aurora, and Belle, and WHO ELSE DID I SEE? I See 2 Ladies from The Dream Squad.
After I Took Pictures and Collected Cinderella`s and Princess Aurora`s Autographs, I found the 2 Ladies. While I had The Chance. I told them that I was there to Celebrate My 30th Birthday by asking them to sign A Page that I was gonna use to make A Special 30th Birthday Memory Book in Celebration of The Year of A Million Dreams .
One of The Ladies in a Way Asked me something.....
" So You REALLY Loved The Year of A Million Dreams? "
They Found out How much I Loved it and ........
Here is where A Lifetime of Losing Streak that I had with Entertainment Promoted Contests Or Giveaways ENDS ............
Now, WAY Before My 30th Birthday Stay at Disney, I have been doing a little Internet Research on The Prizes Offered Through The Disney Dreams Giveaway. I`d NEVER THOUGHT I`d win, because I have Never Won A Prize in Anything like that In My Life Until This moment.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT ? I GET AWARDED THE BIGGEST BIRTHDAY SURPRISE IN MY LIFE !!! 2 ROPE LANYARD TAGS FOR THIS SPECIAL PARK DREAM TIME EVENT AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM !!!!! ONE FOR ME, and ONE FOR MY MOM !!!!
I GOT SOOOO EMOTIONALLY EXCITED, CHEERING SOOO LOUDLY, THAT IF MY MOM DID NOT COME TO ME RIGHT THEN?, I WOULD HAVE HIT THE FLOOR THINKING I WAS FLYING ABOVE THE TENT !!!! My Mom told The Ladies that I was having an Emotional Moment.
I Told My Mom about The Disney Dreams Giveaway, and Introduced My Mom To The Dream Squad, and Told My Mom What I Won, and Then Met Belle While I was Shaking. REALLY AFTER THAT, I WAS SOOO EXCITED THAT I ALMOST DID NOT EAT ANY of MY BIRTHDAY DINNER AT CINDERELLA's ROYAL TABLE Later that Evening. After All of That, My Mom and I Found A Place At The Castle Hub to see The Fireworks Show ..... Wishes and All of A Sudden, We found Around A Hundred Other People "Give Or Take" That Won The Special Park Dream Time Event Heading to Tomorrowland for The Event while Wishes was Happening, and My Mom and I were not even ABOUT to miss This Event for ANYTHING, So We Followed The Crowd To This Spot in Tomorrowland where The Stage was set up for the Kickoff Event .
I got met By A Dream Squad Member That Gave Me A 2 Buttons That Said ....
" Where My Dream Came True Year of A Million Dreams Walt Disney World "
and 2 Special Schedules for The Dream Magic Hour - One For Me, One for My Mom, and Let Me Know that Somebody wanted to see me ........ It Turned Out to be One of The Ladies That Awarded Me and Mom The Prize. She was SOOOOOO Excited That I was Excited !!!!!!!! Promptly After Wishes,
The Party Began On The Stage and I took My Digital Camcorder and just STATRED VIDEOING IT !!!! They Had A DJ for the Whole Hour, But The Exciting Part was watching Mickey and Minnie Mouse Kicking Off The Dream Magic Hour On Stage IN PERSON !
" I Now Declare That The Dream Magic Hour has Begun !" Says Mickey Mouse that included a little Sprinkling of Pixie Dust and LOTS of Blue and White Confetti Streamers !!!!!!
I Partied Myself Out For An Hour with Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale ALL in Their Year of A Million Dreams Costumes.
After The Event and Everything Ended that Night, I was Embracing ALL of The Females in Particular for Such A Magical Night On The way to The Exit of The Magic Kingdom. To Have Mickey and Minnie Mouse and The Dream Squad Waving Goodnight to us in The Crowd Holding Cloud Shaped Banners Put Together saying, " SEE YA REAL SOON ". I joined The Crowd in Trying to get a Good Picture and/or Video of That, and I ended up taking Better Video than A Picture of That Moment.
Just Before I Exit The Magic Kingdom, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Dream Squad Sing Happy Birthday to me Above My Head !!!!!
I had them do it again so that I can Film them While they are singing Happy Birthday To Me, and They did !!!
If I would have said Thank You to ANYBODY IN THE PARK THAT NIGHT,
I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY ENDED UP CAMPING IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM.
Thank God I had A Digital Camcorder for This moment When I Really Needed it. Really for the whole week that I was staying there.
Because I Really Needed Something of My Own like that to help me look back on The Time that REALLY ALL of The Castmembers In the Parks at The Walt Disney World Resort Accepted This 30 Years Young Autistic Person, William Dwight Stewart, Jr. into Their " Kingdom of Dreams and Friendship ".
That was Really My ULTAMITE DREAM COME TRUE !!!!
I have to take a Break right now, but I hope that You will enjoy this Story and I have inspired Somebody to Spend Their Birthday at Walt Disney World Or ANY DISNEY PROPERTY, CONNECT WITH THE CAST MEMBERS !!!

My 2-year-old son who also has autism will be visiting for the first time.

I have to little boys. Luke is 3 and Ben is 5. Ben also has autism. He cant wait to go to Disney and see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. I am so excited and your story has let me know that we are going to have a very magical trip
