I'm so happy!!! I just got my braces off!!! Now I have a retaner but it is really fun!!!! It is turquoise, light pink, and yellow tye-dyed together. Then the put silver sparkles in and I'm so happy my braces are gone!!!!!!!!

I got my braces on in September, and hopefully they would be off in a years time.

congratulations!! i got my braces off a year ago and im so glad to be rid of them....and after a while you'll be glad to get rid of the retainer too lol

Congrats on that! I got mine off three years ago - i remember how excited i was too! (i got irredescent silver retainers) but i must warn you: LISTEN to the ortho!! they know what they're talking about!! Don't get lazy and skip wearing the retainers cause it's so hard to re-correct w/o getting braces again!! Good luck, doll! Take care! (Eat lots of sticky-sugary gum, apples, and corn on the cob!!)

Congrats! I got my braces off last April and boy was I happy after having them on for three years! But I got my retainer as soon as they were off (like within a few minutes!) and they got annoying real quick. Now, I only wear them at night even though I'm supposed to have them on all the time. That sounds like a really cool color(s) that you got.....I didn't get choice of a tye-dye color. Mine are clear.

When I got my braces on, my orthodontist said I would need them for 2 years, 3 at most. I've had them for 3 and a half, and the last time I was there, he put something new in and said, "hopefully this will work this time so we can get those braces off before you're married and have 3 kids."
