Been looking to change industries for a long time. I got hooked up with an executive headhunter and now have 4 interviews within the next week. If your looking to change careers a "good" recruiter is worth their weight in gold.

Just to clue you in - the more mooney the headhunter makes you, the more money they will get. They are probably getting a percentage of the salary.

I didn't mean to imply that all headhunters are bad. Just like in all occupations some are honest some aren't.

Thanks for the clue, but I understand the concept of how headhunters are paid. I have 6 headhunter firms I work with on a constant basis trying to fill positions at my company.

My dh is a senior design engineer and that's how he has done it since 1998. It is a win-win situation.
