Hi Everyone, My Aunt bought vacation club on Saturday. Another family member took the plunge! :cool1: Now she needs to sell her Tan vacation contract. Has anyone heard of tan and know how she can sell it? Does anyone know if The Timeshare store sells Tan? I looked on their website and couldn't find anything. I have sold a Disney contract through The Timeshare Store so I trust them. I know I can call and ask, but I want to avoid embarrassment, (I know its just me:crazy2:} what if they don't sell it or do know about it and how bad it is. LOL.

Thanks for any help.

I've heard a few things about this club over on the Timeshare Users Group. I think (if I remember correctly) that it's a vacation travel club where you buy so many weeks of vacation for a specific cost upfront. You might post a question over on TUG (tugbbs.com) to see what people know about this club.

Be aware that most timeshares won't sell, or, if they do, they sell at huge losses. I own Marriott contracts, and I bought one for $5000, one for $275, one for $65, and one for $5. If you don't get the price you want for your aunt's timeshare, you might consider donating it, and taking the deduction for it, --if she needs any deductions.

The Timeshare Store, Inc.® cannot help your aunt with her Tan property. If she can give us a call, we can refer her to another broker that will help sell her property. Use the number in the banner on the top of this page.

Never ever pay an up front fee. Watch out for the "we'll take it off your hands for 3,500 dollar" people as well as the "You can get about 5K for that property" people
