Wewlcome back, BT! Glad you enjoyed your trip!
I got our tree up and decorated Friday. Not really too hard a job b/c we got a small tree to go on a table in front of the living room window. We wanted to make sure the dog would leave it alone before we got a big one. Only hard part was deciding which ornaments I wanted to put on it 'cause I have a ton and seem to keep accumulating more.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday, I'm off to get some wrapping paper and such then on to work later. Talk to ya'll later!

Debbie- How can you be tired of shopping??? Personally it is one of my very favorite things to do! I don't think I could ever get tired of it (my wallet, however, gets tired rather quickly usually )
I talked to Cookie yesterday, she was in EPCOT and I was so jealous! She seemed to be having a great time.

today is Monday and it is freezing in Maine......I heard it was some what chilly in Florida too.....so I shall make sure I pack our LL Bean gear just in case........we arrive on Friday and come home on Monday....just a little get out of Maine trip to last us until March.....hope you all are doing good with your shopping and cooking.....see you all

good morning cheerleaders!!!

i'm here...just been in lurking mode for a bit...things have been busy around here. i guess that's a good thing!!

trying to get christmas organized and all of our shopping done. we have 2 people left to buy for here and then shop for each other. i'm so excited!! i bought matthew some tools for christmas that he really wanted and he has no idea that they are under the tree for him!! he's very curious and mentions it at least once a day...we'll see how long he can hold out!

i have a "date" planned for him this thursday. i've told him where we're going for dinner but then i have a surprise for him afterwards...i've got 2 tickets for mannheim steamroller...shhhhhh...don't tell!! he loves their music...so we're gonna get all dolled up and have ourselves a nice "date"....something that we don't get to do very often.

we did go to my company holiday party this passed weekend. it was about 3 hours north of us. it was at my boss's house. what a beautiful home!!! they did all of the cooking themselves...homemade fettucini alfredo, and a bunch of other fancy shmancy stuff that i would never make myself! it was wonderful!! they also put us up in a nearby inn. there's an amish area called essenhaus up there and there's a wonderful restaurant, a bunch of little shops, a country inn, and then they have the "dawdy haus"...that's where we stayed. it was a little house (dawdy = grandparents) with about 7 guestrooms, a little kitchen and sitting area, and a walk out porch. it was very nice! our room was small, but quaint...we took full advantage of it too! stayed until check out time. it was great!!almost like staying in someone's home!!

hope everyone that went to DIScon had a great time...wish we all could have been there!! maybe next year...

gotta run for now...make it look like i'm working...

Ughh I hate grocery shopping too and I really need to go. There is nothing in here for dinner.

It is a yucky rainy day here, and not jsut sprinkles - it is RAINING! I am glad I am not at the World today. It is suppose to stay like this all day and maybe into tomorrow, YUCK! I need to get to the post office to mail some packages for Ornament Exchange but I dont wanna get out in this rain. I think I am getting a cold from being rained on in the cold @ DiS CON.

Debbie- O.K., I'll give ya that one, I'm not much on grocery shopping either. I had to do a litle of that mself today since I was making soup but was out of salad stuff and butter for the cornbread (gotta have cornbread!!!)
I've had a tooth ache for a couple of days so went to the dentist this am and I'm still in horrible pain! All they did was refer me to anothere doc and tell me to take Advil. Don't they realize that if Advil was working I would not have been awake and calling them as soon as they opened?!?!?
Ann- Hope you have a great trip! I'm thinking of trying to do the same thing at the end of February.
Ya'll have a great afternoon, I'm off to B&BW to use the newest coupon they emailed me (I love their coupons, this one is for a free foot cream!). Talk to ya'll later!
