SSB got to hug one of his arch rivals yesterday afternoon.... the infamous "CookieGVB"!!!! Had a great time talking... but did not spot the rascal at "Jellyrolls" last night.

Very nice 80 yesterday... but today a bit cooler. No sign of snow here... er, um... yet!

SSB, if you want "snow" I think you need to go to MVMCP or over to MGM to see the Osborne lights. If you want real snow come on up here and we've got plenty! I like the "snow" in WDW better, I believe. Snow is good for the Christmas party and the lights but I hate having to drive in it when it actuaaly sticks around longer than the time it takes to fall.

Isn't Easter week suppose to be the worst week of all, even more crowded then summer? Last year our spring vacation was 3 weeks later then Easter week so even tho we were there for our spring vacation, it was not Easter week. I just checked, our school vacation this year is the week following Easter.
Another thing for me is...that if I really want to fly down for a vacation in the summer...then squeezing in April just won't work
If spring break and Easter weren't the same week I may have seriously considered it.

We got our snow blower back...finally....only took 2 weeks to fix. It was snowing pretty good here late in the afternoon....so I picked up the phone and called to ask how much longer they expected it to be and the guy says "Oh its ready, we just haven't done the bill up yet"

but anyone needs snow...I have some for you

Teri- I'm usually always up at odd hours, I pick Kevin up from work at 5am. Plus, I haven't been sleeping well alot of times b/c of my shoulder. After about 3 hours of laying down it usually waks me up b/c of spasms in the muscles and tendons.
Debbi- thanks for the offer but we have enough snow here already. It's supposed to get above freezing tomorow so that may help start melting it but they are calling for more "wintry mix changing to all snow" early next week. YUCK!!!
Hope Cookie and MS are having fun and I sure wish I was there!

Hi everyone..........
I did peak in a few times yesterday during the day, but when I tried to post at lunchtime the boards or my computer were too slow and I coldn't get a post through
And I'm so jealous of Cookie and MS and SSB and everyone at DisCon

Last night John and I went over to a UNH hockey game, when we got home at 10;45 I was just too tired to get online.......haven't slept well this week at all, not sure why...stressing about my family again I guess

Not sure when my next visit to the World will be........at work April and May are the busiest times of the year for the 4 of us who do what I do, time off of more than a few days is frowned upon (though one guy last year took the last 10 days of May off to go fishing sheesh) DD has the last week of April for her vacation week, and I think we may be needing to do some college visits.........so April looks doubtful as far as me and WDW.

DH and I were thinking of a visit the thrird week of January, a few days at WDW and a few days over on the Gulf Coast, but have made no plans yet.........the friend DD was going to stay with has been having progressively worse bad headaches and/or migraines for nearly a year, and is having an MRI today becasue they want to rule out brain tumors and such SO I want to see how that plays out over the next few days .....HOpefully it is not serious, but I don't know that I would want her parents to have an extra teenager to look after for a week if theier own DD is ill. DD says "Oh, even if I can't stay there, I can just stay at BRETT"S house, his mom and dad wouldn't mind at all, I can use his sister's room (she's at college)" Ya, RIGHT LOL

I'm rambling, have to get to the laundry, still do not have all the ornaments on the tree....there's more shopping to do and wrapping has not even started.

Mike ended up going to the dance last night. He called the coach and told him of the money spent and the commitment made BEFORE he knew of practice. The coach said "Do what you gotta do"
Mike is at practice now...it'll be interesting to hear what happens when he returns. Only one other boy went to the dance...all the others went to practice.
