Yea!!! A Pod Squad Cruise is in the works -- Thanks Pete!

Okay, I know. Obsessive Compulsive. But I've never been diagnosed and it really only applied to Disney. Anyway, I know this cruise is more than a year away BUT the Palo brunch is only on at-sea days and since this is only a 4 night, there is just one at-sea day. I wonder if the Roundtable crew will be doing something during that day so we can all do brunch together? Wouldn't that be a hoot? :lmao: We'd have Kevin's dining review right there in person! Jeez - I hope he likes it!

If anyone has cruise related questions....got that.....cruise related questions....

You can reach me at Kevin@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com

You can also reach Tracy (who is helping organize this whole thing...and y'all will love her. She's one of us.) at Tracy@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com

Neither of us will be able to help you win a stateroom. Neither of us will tell you how to get an email read. Neither of us will tell if we think the Pirate and Princess Party is worth it for your 4 year old. Neither of us will tell you where to find the best "moe gee toe".:lmao:

Got it???? Cruise questions....

I'm watching you....behave.:3dglasses

Kevin

LOL... there'll be plenty of *something* around my house to convince TheBigGuy that we're going.... but it won't involve worship.... <snort>

I haven't figured out yet how to tell and convince DH about this cruise, but I will LOL. Can't wait for all the details so I can hatch a plan. Thinking there will be plenty of this :worship: :worship: :worship: involved

Hmmm....May of '09...that's when I'm planning to participate in the Disney College Program. Do you think the Big Cheese will give me 5 days off to go? :confused3 Heck, the money is going right back in his pocket!

I already turned down the Program for this spring so I can go on the repo cruise in May! Ack!!! Hopefully there'll be another Pod Squad Cruise in the future.

Kevin that 'moe gee toe" and "seating area" thing had me in tears. BTW, yes baby, I would like some foie gras on my noodles! :lmao: :lmao:
You can expect an email from me with "cruise questions", DH and myself are very tempted (never cruised before).

I really want this to be our first cruise, but I got a quote and it is just wayyyy too much for us to swing right now.:sad2: I tried to convince DH that we could do a deposit and then try to scrounge up the rest later but he wouldn't go for that idea.:confused3

Hey, Kevin or John or anybody who might really know, what do you think the possibilities of this happening again for 2010?
We try to take a BIG vacation every other year and on the off year just do little trips. We are doing a BIG one in Sept of 2008, so 2009 would be too soon for us. (Esp for a 4 night cruise. It's going to cost a little more than our 7 night at POFQ with bounce back free dining and 7 day PH.) We were already thinking that a 2010 DCL would be a good first cruise for our kids. They'll be 5 & 7 then and will be in the same kids club. So, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it to be with fellow podcasters and my favorite Celebrities! (Ok, you guys do realize that a lot of us would rather meet you guys than Brad or Angelina, don't you?)

Same here, Marna. Maybe I'll be able to catch one next year...this IS to become an annual event, isn't it?

Got our quote- def. a big savings over booking direct through DCL. DH *really* wants to do a cruise before next May. I'm trying to get him to hold off for this one, though.

For those of you w/ Disney visas- you can combine the DU stateroom credit w/ the $50 visa credit. Which translates to more mo-gee-tos for us onboard!

You can only do this if the reservation is not booked in the group space. Disney does not allow these to be combined.

LOL - Me, too! In addition to the hijack above, we had emails going back & forth at the same time.

She's gonna regret signing up to organize this thing. :rotfl:

Who says she signed up for this :confused3 :lmao: :lmao:

Personally, I think y'all should contact the food service people on board the ship and have them create a custom drink for any meets - "Bob's Mogeeto."

"Bob's moe gee toe" drink :drinking1

What a great idea. :thumbsup2

Ok I think it should have a dole whip feel to it, so it MUST include pineapple juice as a main ingredient.:dance3:

Then add whatever else is needed to make it a moe gee toe drink

:moped:

Tracy -- The quote you provided for me included the DU and the Disney Visa onboard credits...does this mean it wasn't priced using the group rate? I requested thru the link provided in this thread.
