YC or BW adults only June?

Can't decide between the two. Stayed at BW before but never YC. Will be adults only trip in June. Just worried that YC will have a lot of construction with refurb going on?

The YC will have a lot of construction with refurb going on in June. Whether that will be disruptive to your stay depends on how much that will bother you.
It is reported that they are currently starting work on the third floor.
They do try to minimize the disruption, but only you know your tolerance.

Boardwalk rooms are some of the best on property since their refurb, and I find the entire resort to exude the very best of Disney service and charm. You will also be steps away from flying fish, ample hills creamery, trattoria al forno, food carts, and joe's margaritas. The gurgling suitcase is also fantastic. I highly recommend the boardwalk. Also, the music in that area is just vacation perfection.

If the pool is not a priority than go to BWI. It is our favorite resort. I have found the YC to always have convention groups there, kind of takes away the vacation vibe.

Thanks. Am afraid that YC refurb hinders experience. Do like BW so will probably stick with that. Too bad was reallly looking forward to trying YC. Was hoping inconvenience was going to be minimal but does sound that way

Also of note is that at YC, they are also working on the convention center out front, Captain's Grille (restaurant in lobby) and, rumor has it, Ale and Compass Lounge (also in lobby), so it's not just rooms there.

The Gurgling Suitcase is at Old Key West, not the Boardwalk...
