Hello,
We are 5 girls (adults I guess) in one room at the YC.
Are there certain rooms I should request, maybe a corner room or bigger balconies?
Also, should I request extra toiletries and towels before we get there?
Do they sell champagne in there gift shop?

Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated.

You should get 2 Queen beds and a daybed that is comfortable for a small adult. You probably won't get enough linens and shampoo, so be prepared to call mousekeeping. I don't think there is champagne in the gift shop.

There 5 of us. I ALWAYS ask for extra towels (I specify the exact number I want). I leave my request on a daily basis on my tip envelope. I also request extra wooden hangers. I didn't request extra toiletries, as we don't really use them. You might also want to ask for extra coffee...I think the package they give you makes two cups.

Specify a balcony on your room request. Almost all- but not 100%-of the rooms have a balcony.

Ask for a room with a daybed.. not all rooms have daybeds. You can order champagne from room service but I don't remember any in the gift shop. I've stayed at YC with 5 in the room many times but we were always a group of adults and children and NEVER 5 women with one bathroom!

5 Adult women with one bathroom will be very tight. I'd suggest getting two rooms, or staying at the BC or BW Villas.

The bathroom situation could be worse. At the YC, the shower and toilet are in one room. Ouside that room are two sinks with a long vanity and lots of storage spage.

I think we will manage okay. We are all assigned to bring specific toiletry products so the shower and sink area won't be too clogged.
I also just found out that one of the girls is pregnant!
We are going to have the time of our life. I have every minute of the trip planned but I am sure we won't stick to any plans. We all want a relaxing trip but that might be hard b/c 2 of the girls have never been to WDW. We plans on spending a lot of time at the hotel so I am really hoping we get a room w/ a balcony. We picked the standard room for money reasons. Of course I would love a nice view but if we have to look at the parking lot, it's not a big deal.

We are all 27 and we all have been friends since kindergarten. The more I talk about this trip the more excited I get :cool1:

Hi! I have gone about 4 times, with 4 of my adult female friends. We LOVE the YC for this! (Your group reminds me of mine! We are all great friends!)

We have always gotten 1 room with 2 beds and a day bed, but make sure you request the day bed, and ask for it again at check in. Most rooms have balconies, so that shouldn't be a problem. If it's a slower time of year, see if you can get a water view upgrade for free...the Boardwalk view is awsome!

We all had designated items to bring toiletrie wise also, and we brought a hanging over the door shoe rack to store everything, which worked GREAT ... except the bathroom door didn't close all the way and it covered the full length mirror. Not a problem for us, but it may be for you.

We always left a little note with how many towels we wanted, with the tip for the maid. It worked great.

Do you plan on going to Jellyrolls at all?

p.s. last time we all went, on of our gals was pregnant too. she needed lots of rest!

We are definately going to Jelly Rolls. I don't think we are going to PI since we don't have that option on our tickets. I think we will spend a lot of time on the BW and at EPCOT at night. My gf just found out she was pregnant so she is not too far along. We are teasing her by telling her she can go get our beer while we are on the rollercoasters (we're evil).
My biggest concern are the crowds b/c we are trying to cram a lot of rides into such a short period b/c 2 of the girls have never been there before.
So far we have ADRs atr Beirgarten, CA GRill, Canada and Italy. We will probably cx Italy and go to the Yachtsman. I love the dining plan!
That's a great idea to leave the tip w/ the towel request.

I've not noticed if there is champagne in the YC gift shop but I've seen it in the BC's shop which is just past the BC lobby. I imagine it is sold at the YC too though.

I've gotten the Fairy Tale Cuvee in the shop at the Beach Club and the general store over at the Boardwalk has a decent selection of wine available.

Have fun!
