My husband, 9year old daughter and I are just back to reality after a magical first trip to WDW. We LOVED YC Concierge. Our room #5235 overlooked Stormalong Bay and the lagoon with a very nice view of the Boardwalk. Weather was hot and humid during the day with some rain in the late afternoons or evenings. Longest ride wait was 10 minutes. Cast members were very helpful and our room was gorgeously fresh and redone. I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Ramelle,
Welcome back! It is nice to see a positive review of the YC concierge! We are super psyched to be there over Thanksgiving. How did you find the food offerings? Did the YC concierge staff contact you prior to arrival? And if so, when?
Thanks and glad you enjoyed your trip!

If anything there was too much food out! There were several types of Krispy Kremes, bagels, coffee cake, croissants and danish, fruit, cereals, breads, etc. for breakfast. We were never there mid-day. Evenings always had different offerings - quiche, bbq tarts, cheeses, veggies, spring rolls, crostini, etc. for the adults and the pbj uncrustables, gummy worms, puddings, etc. for the children. About ten different types of desserts in the late evenings. Cookies were always available, as were sodas, juices, etc. Nice wines and cordials in the evenings. There is something for everyone and the staff was always eager to go and get whatever else you need (skim milk when only whole was out, etc.)

I received a letter and planning form from the concierge staff several months prior to our stay. I also emailed them about several things. They were very helpful, especially during our stay.

Glad to hear you had such a great trip, we love the YC too. I qas wondering how the construction was? I heard there is some going on outside, where is it and is it distracting or in the way?

The outside construction was not at all distracting. All scaffolding is covered with white plastic so it is much less obtrusive that it would otherwise be. There was a block of rooms being finished on the 5th floor - mainly painting, etc. We were far away from them at the end of the 5th floor so it was no problem. I don't know where they were on the other floors, but it did seem that at least one or two floors had not yet been renovated.
