Has nothing to do with Steeler fans just about a bunch of drunk obnoxious students,
But I just watched the news and none of the stations reported any couch burning or obnoxious behavior anywhere.
I agree, they are not who a Steeler fan is.... And as you know, I am a Browns fan. We in the Cleveland area also suffered the same biased BS media propaganda when they showed "ONE" location in all of N.E. Ohio burning a few Lebron jerseys last year and making it out to be the whole city was in the streets burning them. Not true at all. Media sensationalism at it's finest.
Not all Steeler fans are jerks and I'm not being sensitive. I came on here to congratulate what I thought was a great team and a great bunch of fans. Since IMOP, Packers fans come from a similar background and have alot of history with their team as does the Steelers.
And what I find is a bunch of rude condescending comments about our team and fans, Kind of puts a different perspective on things.
I will say this and attempt to be unbiased. I have gone to many Steeler-Browns games for almost 30 years since I was 18 and will say that I have rarely found Steeler fans (In Pittsburgh that is) to be jerks. Sure the fun ribbing for wearing the Browns colors, but it's always been in fun.
However, I will have to say this: Many, "so called" Steeler fans outside of the Pittsburgh area who have jumped on the bandwagon (not the true fan) can and often are an embarrassment to the true Steeler Nation fan. They can and often are very arrogant and show their true poor sportsmanship in victory and as I have seen where I live in the heart of football country, right here in Canton Ohio ( I live 5 miles from the HOF) just how poor they are in defeat.
roliepolieoliefan, please note, I know that you are a true Steeler fan and we recently have had some good clean fun jabbing at each other, and in no way do I feel you are an example of being a bad fan, nor place you in the above mentioned group. As a Steeler fan you have much to be proud of. And as a Browns fan, this is a hard thing to say.

May my Browns go 2-0 next year against the Steelers.
With that said, congratulatons to the Green Bay Packers for a big win. And congrats to the Steelers for their tradition of excellence and once again getting to the big show. Both are great franchises, and both teams, cities, and their TRUE fans have much to be proud of. Great game.... And for you Packer fans, Brett who??????
