For years DH and I have wanted to get a chest freezer because there are some frozen foods that we like to buy on sale- only we can't fit enough in our freezer between sales. (they seem to be on about a 6 week rotation). We got one for Christmas and this morning I woke up to see the sale our freezer exists for at Meijer! The three main things we want (sausages, english muffins and frozen veggies) are all buy 10 for $10 and get the 11th free!

There are a number of other misc. other things also on sale this week so I might get the whole month's groceries out of the way this morning. Off to print coupons...

That's great! A freezer can be a great thing for your budget. I just cleaned mine out this weekend though, so stay organized so you don't waste some of your good deals!

So true, especially with a chest, you use the top and forget the bottom. Label and date everything too.
