 I love Air Miles. I just got my Universal passes in the mail today. :yay::yay:

We are heading to Disney in November, we got our Disney passes and Universal Passes through Air Miles - sure makes our trip that much more affordable!:woohoo::woohoo:

We just ordered our Universal passes too with our Aeroplan points - Love it when I get something free :o) We will use ours in October.... can't wait for WWOHP :wizard::banana:

I'm waiting for a few more "bonus" points to be posted to our account before I order three Universal tickets for our January trip. After that, I'll start stockpiling points to use towards renewal of our annual Disney passes for next year. Gotta love it, free :yay: points on buying necessary items - so much fun!

I am so jealous every time I read these posts. There are just not a lot of places to collect airmiles on things like groceries etc. in Kitchener, IT really sucks and wish I could complain to air miles about it.

I am jsut so sad and wish there was somehow to collect more airmiles here. :sad2:

Get an AM credit card that's how you build them up. If it was just at sponsors it was take a decade to get enough points for anything. I got the Amex 2 years ago and at that time there was a 450 mile bonus for applying. I know they still offer a bonus but I have no idea how much. The BMO mastercard also has a bonus.

Locally I pretty much only have Metro and Shell. There is a Rexall but I would have to drive about 20-25 minutes across town so I only go over there when there is a promo for bonus miles. If you shop at the HBC stores you can have your HBC points converted to AM.

Also shop via Airmiles.ca online. You can order from Sears, Toys R Us, Amazon and collect airmiles by going through the website.

Hi everyone! First post out of lurkdom and I just have a couple of questions for those who have used Airmiles for park tickets.

1. We want to use Airmiles to get Disneyland passes for our trip in late January and currently the passes available are only good until Jan.3rd. I emailed Airmiles and they said passes would be available in late fall. Does anyone know what they consider late fall to be?

2. How long does it typically take to receive tickets from Airmiles once they are ordered?

Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the DISboards!

I usually receive the tickets in about a week to 10 days. It is pretty quick. They come in Xpresspost envelopes. I live in a small town (800 people) so mail typically takes a couple days longer than people that live in the city.

I would think that October would be late fall. Check every day though because you never know when they will update it or have them on special.

Good luck and have fun!:wizard:

I have been struggling with Airmiles for months!!! I have spent many hours waiting on the phone to speak to representatives about updating my parents airmiles acct's , transferring airmiles, questions about the recent prom for WDW tickets and now that I have that all figured out I just spent another 45 minutes on the phone today trying to get a straight answer from them as to when I am going to receive my missing WDW ticket!!!!!!! I ordered 1 child's & 1 adult pass almost 4 weeks ago. I received 1 child's pass. I emailed them & they said that they were mailed separately. When I called today, they said that WDW tickets are on backorder & they have no idea as to when they would be getting more , have no idea when I will be receiving my ticket BUT assured me that it would be before my trip in 6 weeks!! Are you kidding me????? I need to order 2 other Disney tickets fro WDW, but wanted to wait to get the ones from Airmiles before I paid for shipping from Disney. A word of caution-Order your tickets well far in advance to your trip if using Airmiles, ask for names & keep all emails & borrow LOTS of patience-you will need it!! JMO!!!

 Sounds like you have had a horrible experience. Sorry about that. I guess that I have been really fortunate because I have ordered 4 child tickets to Disney, 1 adult Disney ticket, 1 child Universal ticket and 1 adult Universal ticket over the past year in separate orders and all have arrived sooner than expected.

I hope your ticket arrives tomorrow so that you don't have to have that worry as you prepare for your trip. I hope it doesn't spoil things for you.

Have a wonderful trip!:wizard:

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with AM. That is so not my story. I've had nothing but great experiences with them. The last time I got WDW tickets I was going to pay the courier fee to get them faster...I was short on time. The person that took my order told me not to pay the fee and for sure I would have them before I left...14 days later. I had the tickets in 5 days via express post. I've also had issues with missing promo miles and I have emailed them, got an answer in 24 hours and then received the miles within 7 days.
