Hmm - while a real life zoetrope is fun and cool, I wonder about a virtual one. Will it show a short film strip when we click on it? If so, very cool! Or, does it just sit on a table like a trophy? If so, a little boring, quite frankly.

And I may be the only one, but I am SOOO not excited about decorating a room around a giant globe protruding into the room - but there are always trees.

Last question - One has to wonder if this will be YET ANOTHER Walt Disney World only available guest room, like the very cool Animal Kingdom Lodge? (I wont get started on that 1, you all know my thoughts about that by now.) I sure hope not.....

With the information I have so far, I am less than excited about these 2 new items. However, I am reserving final judgement until we see them and have full availability details.

I have always wanted the astro orbiter lamp to DO SOMETHING. Hope this new item actually spins and shows a short clip of something, like, say, the old black and white Mickey walking.

I had the same thoughts about the zoetrope. I remember when I saw the
room of zoetropes at the Animation building at DCA. I loved those. If
the zoetrope does something when you click on it, great. If not...
And woot woot woot for Epcot!! It's my favorite park (especially during
the Food and Wine Festival), and it was cute to see the way it was
represented.

For those wondering about the Leave a Legacy "graveyard", that wouldn't
be represented, since the room is showing the Fountain of Nations. (Hmm,
put a Fountainview Cafe in there and I'm happy.) Of course, the giant
electronic tipboard isn't there, but you can't decorate a room with that
thing in the way.

This is making me want to play Spaceship Earth Roulette, now...

I didn't even know a zoetrope existed until now! It must be one of those things from the 1800's or something. I hope the virtual one actually plays movies and does whatever those things do. I hear it spins?

Oops, disregard, i read the column wrong. But i'm sure that at least one of the "Epcot" items will be obtainable through in-game quest. But since they're pullling all the other quests and replacing them with only one small one-prize quest that we know of so far, the cooler Epcot furniture will probably be from an in-park Epcot quest...

Sure it will. You won't have to use a tiki fountain now in the room!

I'm also excited for the new Epcot rooms. Epcot is a great park that i enjoy coming to. Maybe VMK will make rooms for the World Showcase in Epcot! I also can't wait for the furniture. lol
