Yatch Club VS. Beach Club Food Convenience?

Hi Everyone

We have stayed at both YC and BC over the years, but it has been quiet awhile...and only one stay at YC. When trying to book only YC is available right now for the week I choose; so here is my question. I always preferred BC because of its store and grab and go section with mug refills etc. I cant remember if YC had this same set up on their side? If not do you have to walk all the way over to the other side in the morning on your way out? What would our choices be over there? Thank You

The Ale & Compass lounge has breakfast items and Hurricane Hanna's lunch/dinner. Both offer mug refills but only HH is self-serve, I believe.

We walked to the Beach Club Marketplace for food when we stayed at the YC last year. We did get coffee at the Ale & Compass, and they had a breakfast menu. They have a few tables in there as well. It seemed that, at least when we went, people waited a while formtheir food. There was one staff member working, and he or she had to go back in a kitchen to get everything. It just seemed to take a while. It was easy enough for coffee, but the marketplace may be quicker on a rushed morning.

That said, we loved,the Yacht Club and plan to,stay there again this summer.

If given a choice, I always stay at the YC, I just like the vibe better than the BC. I just walk over to the BC and get my breakfast, it doesn't take but about 4 min. and is a nice early morning stroll.

There are reports that the Ale & Compass is going to be expanded in the near future, to include more food items etc.
Don't know if it is official yet or when

Thanks for all of the feedback. I hope they do expand Ale & Compass to have a market type place as well. This will make it much more convenient for folks.
