My DD never plays with her 3-piece Step 2 kitchen and she is going to sell it at our town wide yard sale tomorrow. It is probaby 9-10 years old and discontinued. DD gets to keep the money, so I want to price this right! All stickers are all intact.

Here is a pic I found of one that sold on Ebay Australia. I am also including some play pots/pans/cooking utensils.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/STEP-2-3-Pie...Toys_Hobbies_Pretend_Play?hash=item335ae51a94 It closed for 120 AU$ on 3/11.

When I look at eBay USA, someone split the set...there is a sink with pots and pans up to $10.50, and the stove is up to $26.49. If it doesn't sell tomorrow, I will put on Craigslist.

Ask $50 and just know in your head what you will negotiate down to. I have sold Step 2 play houses for $75 and climbers for theh same, a kitchen set in good shape can bring a decent price. Good luck!

I would say 25.00. I wouldn't 50.00 for a used 10 year old toy. Good luck to you:)

I would put $50 or best offer (OBO). That way if someone comes up and offers you $35, you can take it. If it's in good condition with all the stickers, etc. then you should have no problem getting that amount. People know that Step 2 and Little Tikes last forever, so they are willing to pay for a used item.
Good luck with your sale!:cool1:

Thanks for all the feedback! I'll try high in the morning, literally there are pick-up trucks that go around my neighborhood during the town-wide yard sale and they are full of little tikes and step 2 stuff. There are 85 houses in my neighborhood and nearly everyone has kids, so it is a hot spot for people looking for this stuff.

If I don't get the higer amount and miss out on a buyer during the sale, I will lower it and put it on Craigslist. DD also has a ton of play food in her little shopping cart, I'll grab a few pieces so it looks more 'complete'.

I just sold my step2 outdoor playhouse yesterday. It's 5 years old, been outside the whole 5 years, and is pretty "gently used." I said $50 OBO and got $40 for it. Many people are willing to pay $50 vs the $200+ new.

Let us know how much it sold for. I was thinking $50 sounded too high also but you never know. I think $30 would be a good price.
