Yak & Yeti or Tusker House

Which is better? We;ve never eaten TS at AK, but would like to have dinner there this time around, but neither of the places really appeal to me??

the try the Tusker House, its a buffet so u will likely find something u like.

Tusker House is pretty noisy but we don't like the food at Yak n Yeti (tried it twice). We are adventurous eaters but we don't do "bad food" very well.

We had a great meal at Yak and Yeti last summer. Excellent service and the food was very good. Loved the fried wonton dessert,too. We would definitely go back if we want TS at AK. I don't care for buffets so I only go if it is a character meal my kids want.

I agree with this, since I have never had Tusker House for lunch or dinner and Yak and Yeti does not serve breakfast. My husband loved Tusker House breakfast second to only Boma (AKL) for breakfast. DS3 really enjoyed the noodles at Yak and Yeti. Both restaurants were good to me.

We ate at both and I think Yak and Yeti is a better option for dinner. It is a nice setting and the skirt steak and shrimp was good. If you go, I recommend splurging on the minced chicken lettuce wraps for an appetizer. Best appetizer we have had at WDW!

Tusker House is one of the best meals on property IMO. I love Boma and Tusker House is similar and they are lunch priced instead of dinner priced which is a bonus.

I am a big fan of the Yak and Yeti - I have eaten lunch there 5 times now - it was very good each time.

I would have to agree - love Tusker House for breakfast, and love Yak & Yeti for lunch or dinner! It's my husbands favorite place to eat, we usually go twice on our trips .

For us, it's a no brainer! We've eaten at Y&Y twice and it was gross both times. We've also eaten at Tusker House twice & it was really awesome both times.

I have to say Yak and Yeti was one of our best dinners, I have picky eaters (and I mean PICKY) and all of us love, loved our dinner. We had a nice window seat upstairs, and we all got the won-ton dessert-to die for
oh I almost forgot to mention the Emporer's Margharita
