Yak & Yeti CS

During our trip this summer, we are most likely going to be at AK in the evening (for EMH). I actually have never had a meal in Animal Kingdom, and we want to try and the meal cheap lol. I was thinking of going for the Yak & Yeti counter service. Does anyone have any suggestions/pictures?
Or Should we maybe do appetizers and drinks at the bar in Yak and Yeti? Can we go into the Yak & Yeti restaurant for just drinks (I've heard so many good things about the Yak Attack). Just wondering what we should try out!

We ended up doing Y&Y cs last year because we gave up a table inside the restaurant to be able to make our fastpass times. Anyways, we were happy we did, they serve some of the same meals as inside only cheaper and they also have a little outside bar to buy drinks at. I know I have a pic somewhere, if I can find it I'll post it-we really liked the ambiance at the outdoor seating, it was in the shade and we had a great time. My daughter and I shared the honey chicken and rice and she loved it!

I enjoy Y&Y counter service but I would recommend you try Flame Tree BBQ. I think that is one of the best counter service restaurants on property.

Flame Tree looks good too, and was definitely my other choice, but from the allears menu, it looked like there are more to choose from at Y&Y CS...but I'm not opposed to Flame Tree BBQ either....I DUNNO! lol

I enjoy the Y&Y CS. This is an order of shrimp lo mein & a side of egg rolls. The meals are usually large enough to split.

I did not check there menue(i will right after this) but do they have the deep fried green beans?? like the TS restraunt by far Its what we go there for. There soup Is good to,but really there fried green beans Is amazing. The rest of there menue Is also good but IMOP Its typical amercian chinese food.

There are no deep fried green beans on the CS menu. It's just your basic American-ized Chinese food - shrimp lo mein, egg rolls, chicke fried rice, etc.

You can get the Yak Attack at the CS! And I highly recommend it!

I ate at Yak and Yeti CS on my last trip and really enjoyed it! It was really good CS food!

Shrimp Lo Mein:

This looks like the shrimp is placed on top of the lo mein. Does anyone know if you can get the lo mein without the shrimp? Dd would enjoy a vegetable lo mein but doesn't eat shrimp.

Last December I ate at Y&Y CS and loved loved loved it just as much as I like the time I sat inside the restaurant, I will be doind it again this year when I go You wont be worry you did
