yak and yetti for 7?

My ADR window opens tomorrow. I'm playing on the site tonight and I am surprised to see that a reservation for 7 (dinner time) at yak and yetti is tougher than I thought! Is this because I'm searching for 7 people? I wasn't sure if I should prioritize this reservation on my list when making them?

Yak & Yeti is awesome. Love it.

Instead of trying to get an ADR, join the Landry’s Select Club. It costs $25 to sign up, but you get that back on your first visit. If your birthday falls within the month of your trip, you’ll get another $25 off. Hint—make sure your birthday happens during the month you are mostly likely to visit WDW. I am doing both for Yak and Yeti. I am making an ADR, but showing my Landry's card as well.

We were a party of 9 last September and had no problem getting a table although one of the nine was 6 months old. We got a table for 8.

Is it really hard to get Yak and Yeti ADR for larger parties. I have been searching for a party of 7 and even 8 and nothing is open. You can get other places, Tusker House, even the ROL dining package, but nothing for Y&Y?

We had a larger party at Yak & Yeti in January 2017. It was for 10 people I think. We called the restaurant directly and were able to get a reservation that way.

We ended up booking a reservation for 3 people and 4 People.
