Looking at the Yak and Yeti menu, and my kids and I LOVE dim sum, pot stickers etc. Has anyone gone there and just had appetizers for dinner? Would it be REALLY expensive for myself and 3 kids?

We're on the dining plan, but one night I need a cash meal, as we're planning on doing the Spirit of Aloha dinner for 2 dinner credits.

I cannot advise on the expensive part or not, but I say if you want to just eat apetizers there - go for it!

I originally scheduled a lunch ADR there just to try their desert & a drink I keep hearing so much about! (Ended up changing it to dinner after reviewing their menu).

From prior reports, you may have problems ordering appetizers in lieu of entrees on the dining plan at this particular restaurant - go in prepared for them to say you can't if you decide to use credits. As a cash meal, no problem.

I'd be using cash to eat here, because I want to save a dining credit for the Spirit of Aloha.

According to prices on allearsnet, the apps are all within QS entree prices (the Dim Sum for two is most expensive at $13.99). Throw in a side of rice or two and enjoy!
