Thanks

Yak and Yeti is currently open. I'm not sure if they're taking ADRs yet. I know there was some question about when they would start taking them. We walked up at opening on a Saturday in January and got a table with no problem.

THANKS! okay, now i have a few more questions :]

Was the food good? Was it expensive? Was it worth the money? And what food options do they offer?

I know Yak and Yeti are open and yes they are taking ADR's. We have one for the end of April and I am really looking forward to it. I have read so far that the atmosphere is great and the food is really good. The portions are not as generous as a lot of Disney retsuarants. They also have a counter service open. This is only what I have read so far so I am anxious to hear more about what people have to say!

We ate lunch at Yak and Yeti on Thursday . The food was fabulous. We made a reservation Thursday morning. Had 6 deluxe ts credits to use.

I ate lunch at the Yak & Yeti last month. I thought the food was good, great portion size, fairly reasonable in price. I love Asian food, which is the majority of the menu...hence its location in AK's Asia!

I ate there in December.Be sure to request a window table when you make your ADR and again when you check-in at the Yak and Yeti. There are a few window tables on both the first and second floors that look out into Asia. There is no guarantee you will get a window table, but the chances are A LOT better if you have it noted on your reservation and mention it again at check-in.:)

Can't wait to go~seems like it's been tempting me forever. We have ADRs for 22 Feb. lunch.
10 more days!!!!

Looking at the menu, it doesn't seem they have any vegetarian selections for the main meals. Can anyone who's been confirm this? Thanks.

We ate lunch there on Christmas Eve. Pretty good!

We ate at Yak & Yeti both in December and January. December was walk-in, January was an ADR. Everyone enjoyed their meals. With our eating habits - we could share - the portions were big enough.

In December, the server indicated no discounts available. (I think he lied!) In January we were able to get a 10% Annual Pass discount at lunch - don't know if the time matters or not. They did not take the DDE.

Does anyone know if the lunch menu at Yak and Yeti is different (i.e. CHEAPER ) than the dinner one? I just checked out Allears, and it only lists one. Thanks!

The food was pretty good, but not cheap. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and shared. We finished with the fried wontons for dessert. With a couple of glasses of wine and tip, it was around $95.
I believe there is only one menu for the day, which makes sense given AK's earlier park closing. No DDE accepted, but they did give us an AP discount (10%) even though we didn't order entrees. The cast members we encountered were all very nice.

We did get a window seat. It had a nice view. Our waitress kept reminding us that if we stayed, we would be able to see the parade from the table. I would think that eventually people will figure this out and a late lunch period/window request might become hard to book.

I would return, but only to do the same appetizer thing. It was a nice relaxing meal, but crowds were low. If the place gets busy, it may lose some of the appeal. Plus, I really like Flame Tree BBQ, and given cost, would choose Flame Tree for my "regular" stop.

Give it a try. The restaurant is very attractive. The food is good, just know that it will cost a few more $$ that you may think it is worth in the end.

I'm pretty sure they started taking ADRs on December 2. They were supposed to start taking ressies a few days later, but I was at WDW on 12/2, called to check, the CM said they'd started a couple days early, and I got an ADR for December 5. I was very glad to be able to try it, and I got to have duck, which I haven't had in years. However, the duck was kind of dry, and I wasn't impressed, so next time I'll try the CS.

We ate there in January for a late lunch. The food was amazing, the portions were huge (we were on the DxDDP and 4 of us shared 1 child and 2 adult meals), and the service and atmosphere were both great. We will definately make this our regular place to eat at AK.

I would highly recommend the steak & shrimp, crispy mahi mahi entrees; Ahi tuna, dim sum basket, and lettuce wrap appetizers; and fried wanton dessert. YUM!! :thumbsup2
