We have the dining plan. I need another good place to eat. Has anyone eaten at the new Yak and Yeti in the Animal Kingdom. Would it be worth a sit down dinner?

We ate there Dec 2007. It was Fantastic. It was the best meal we had during our 10 days at disney, Except for the california grill. The service was good. We showed up 20 minutes early for a 5:30 pm reservation and the got us right in. We had pork pot stickers, pork egg rolls, crispy Mahi Mahi, stir fry beef and broccoli, fried wantons and sorbet. All very good. The kids were happy with the typical Disney kids meal. Grandma loved the Blue Bonsai Blast drink.

In the last few weeks I have seen fantastic pictures and a lot of positive reviews so we are going to give it a go in 3 weeks!

We were really disappointed in the food at Yak n Yeti. It was not awful but it was definitely not good enough for us to do a repeat trip.

But because I hate to be negative I will say that it's a good value on the DDP. The entrees are overpriced but if you are on DDP, it won't seem so painful (we do not do dining plan and the OOP prices on this food was outrageous for the quality). And the serving portions were huge. None of us finished our entrees.

My husband and I ate there in March. We ate there for lunch and we had the DDP but did not use it that day. We split an app and entree. I think we had the skirt steak with shrimp and that basket app. We did not care for the app but loved the entree. We would definitly would go back and while I don't think we will be using the DDP in the future I think it was a good value for it if we had used it.

We ate there in February. I thought it was a very pretty restaurant but I didn't think the food was very good.

This place is forever scratched from out list!! We ate there last week and had a terrible experience. The food was just so so and the service was so so so horrible! So bad that we did NOT leave a tip. Which for us is huge because we always tip. It took an hour and a half to get through dinner.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Yak & Yeti! Our favs are the pork potstickers (pan-fried), egg rolls, and honey chicken. Although, we didn't find anything amongst our party of 9 that we didn't like. :thumbsup2 It's definitely on our list for this years' trip!

We ate at this restaurant & loved it! Service was not too good, but the food made up for it. We did leave a lower than average tip for our server. That all being said, I'd go back in a minute, because we enjoyed the food that much! :thumbsup2

We loved Yak & Yeti. First time we had ever tried fried green beans. Yummy!

We were happy to see that Friday's has fried green beans on the menu, but Disney's were soooooo much better. We tried Friday's twice, not so good.

I just found Friday's brand frozen fried green beans at Sam's Club. Making them at home in the oven was close to Disney's and a lot better than at Friday's restaurant.
