I've had it on here since shortly after I got my lap top in the spring of 2006.. I've loaded lots of music in there, but I'm pretty sure I have it all transferred to CD's.. (If need be, just to be safe - I can burn CD's again before I do anything..)
The problem is that I have a Microsoft Photo Program on here - that I have also had for the same length of time.. Every now and then, I'm prompted to archive the photos (burn them to CD's) if I haven't already done so.. For a long time I was doing that - with no problems..
I'm not sure, but I think my problems started when they came out with the new version of the Yahoo Musicmatch Plus 10.1.. Ever since then, when I try to back up my photos (using the CD burner for photos), they start to burn, but then the Yahoo burner starts up, interferes with the photo program, and I can't finish burning the CD's..
I've looked all over the "inners" of my laptop - trying to find someplace where I could disable the Yahoo burner, but can't find it..
To me, my photos are far more important than the music (which as I said, I could burn extra CD's ahead of time), so should I just try to get the Yahoo Musicmatch Jukebox off (out) of the computer or what?
I really need to do something soon.. I have a ton of photos I have to back up on CD's..
If you've made it this far, thanks..
