Yahoo DSL - anyone??

Anyone have any experience with Yahoo SBC DSL internet? I am looking to upgrade and get off dial - up and at this time this is my only option. Can anyone give me some insight? I have been on dial - up for 5+ years and its time to get into the 21st century.

We upgraded to SBC Yahoo DSL in March of this year! We had dial up before the DSL. There is a worlld of difference between to two. DSL is sooo much faster, you are always connected ( no need to wait to dail up and the server is busy or it just take forever to connect), and you are not using a phone line, so your line is no longer busy. The only down side is the price. In my opinion, it is worth it!

We also got Yahoo DSL this year, although we also have a little home network which I set up (very proud of myself. ). Just installing the dsl on one computer is very easy and doesnt take very long, and is definitely worth it! I could not imagine dialup anymore now. And I think its only around $30 now too.

If you sign up for a year it is $29.95 a month BUT you have to sign up for the year with a $200 penalty if you cancel before the end of the contract. OR you can sign up month to month with two different levels of DSL either $39.95 or $49.95 a month. Both levels are at $29.95 for the year contract. Plus right now you get a free modem and free activation, savings of $149.99.

I took the plundge and signed up last night. I should be on DSL by the end of next week.
