Yachtsman walk up

Has anyone had luck with yachtsman walk up? How close do I need to be to join list. Found a last minute reservation for Jan8-12 st BCV, and nothings available at yachtsman until 9pm. If you have had luck what time dis you finally get a Table?

I have not done Yachtsman as a walk-up, however, you should be close enough to join the list from BCV. If the app says you aren't, you could simply start walking toward the restaurant from your room until you are close enough. We had to do that to join the Citricos walk-up list from VGF.

Check the day before or even the day of. I was able to get a lot of hard to get restaurants day of by refreshing the page things kept changing and I was able to get what I wanted. Didn’t try for this restaurant but it probably became available too since I found super hard to get ones
