Is It possible? I keep seeing references to walkways that are blocked. My stay is Labor Day week.

Thanks!

By then the walkways will be unblocked because the NBA will be gone, so yes these two parks will be easily walkable from YC. I'm there the same week so if you need help post back here :)

Thanks! It’s been a while since I’ve stayed in this area but I couldn’t resist taking advantage of the great rates. I’m hoping that walking will get me to Hollywood Studios earlier than the Skyliner from Pop would have.

I’m not expecting it but would be over the moon if Stormalong Bay opens!

Pray for me, I had to pay rack rate :crazy2: But we've never stayed Deluxe so very much looking forward to it, and hard same on SAB!

You paid rack rate for the Yacht Club??? I don't think I would stay there if SAB isn't open, its just not worth the money in my opinion

Yeah we may switch if SAB doesn’t open before our trip (or cut off 2 nights and head over to Universal) but honestly it was on the lower end of cost for the Deluxe resorts - I can’t imagine $690 a night for Grand Floridian being “worth it” either.

I remember the good old days of the early 90's when Yacht and Beach were easy to fin for below $200 a night. According to the internets.....that room should be $370 in todays money.

I feel like they jack up the rack rates because they discount so often...just my luck this time they didn't! It's OK, we can swing it for a special occasion trip, but I'm nervous that I won't be able to go back to Moderates after this :earboy2:
