Yacht Club or Beach Club?

I disagree...the atmosphere of each is very different. I've stayed at both and my experiences at each were very distinct.

It is funny how one building, split in half, can feel like two completely different resorts when it comes to personality and character. It fools me

But from an engineering point of view...technically it is one building with differnt curtains and bedspreads at each end :happytv:

If refilling your resort mug in the morning for coffee and soda throughout the day is important, then BC is the choice. It has the marketplace right there, very convenient. I also think the YC is very dark as you enter the lobby, not my taste. I love the colors of the BC, very light.

From the standpoint of having young children along, when we stayed at YC, each day we found ourselves walking over to BC for either Marketplace or else Cape May character breakfast. Then later at night when returning from parks, we once again found ourselves walking to the BC for that wonderful Gelato at Marketplace. It seems like we stayed at YC just for sleeping arrangements but spent most of our time at BC. However, when we stay at BC, we never walk over to YC. So I think it just depends on your tastes and situation. We do love YC and think it's very beautiful, but with the young children along we tend to hang out at BC more often, thus it makes more sense for us to just stay at BC.

I can say that if DH and I did an adult-only trip, we would stay at YC or BWI. Love those 2 resorts. But BC is what works best for us right now.
