Yacht Club is now offering in-room dining

Wow $24 for the standard bacon & eggs type of breakfast, plus $5 delivery, plus tax plus 18% service charge, that breakfast will set you back about $35 😮
That's always been the cost. Room service is always exhorbitantly expensive.
We rarely use it, but was thinking it might be a good option for one dinner with the limited choices for outside dining right now.

did it for the chuckle factor

we eat in rest' ... even for breakfast but I seldom see the need for room service with a limited menu and increased price; usually no real 'table' to sit at .....

Does anyone know how late room service runs? Also is it offered at the Beach Club Villas? TYIA

You do you, buddy! 🤣
I'm not rich at all, but for the short amount of time I get to be on vacation, I like to live like I am! I have never been able to wrap my head around the idea of eating convenience foods in my hotel room to save a few bucks.
Some of us just aren't that into breakfast. I can eat a large breakfast once or twice a week, but most days some cheerios & milk are just right. And even though we can afford it, we are very cheap, those prices would not work for us!

This is the information that has been reported on the Yacht Club/Beach Club thread on the Resorts board:

breakfast is available 730-11am
dinner is available 5-11pm

Serving both the YC and BCV.

So will I be able to get in-room dining at BCV now? I've never had room service before, but I'm going solo to BCV in a few months and I'd promised myself that I'd finally treat myself to it. And do the above hours listed mean that there's none available between 11:00 and 5:00?

Yes, according to the info on the YC/BC thread, in room dining is avalible to guests at the Beach Club Villas. Currently, in room dining is only available for breakfast and dinner.

I love room service. Even when we stay on a 1 or 2 br, we get at least one breakfast. At dinner, we will get an entree to share and a couple of apps and dessert depending on where we are staying.

I hope that they bring it back to all the deluxe resorts.

now to bring back Delivery of packages to your hotel.

Does anyone know if you put can order coffee or drinks with the current room service? Or, are they just assuming you are using the machine in the room?...

I didn’t order or ask during our recent stay so I don’t know the answer, but beverages aren’t listed on the menu, FWIW. Not sure if that implies they aren’t available or they just didn’t bother to include on the menu. Maybe someone who has ordered will chime in.

This is excellent news and we’ll take advantage of it on our trip this fall. Thank you for sharing the menu!
