Yacht Club Concierge VS. Grand Floridian

UGH! Do you have any idea HOW HARD it is to decide on a honeymoon resort?! (lol.. such a frivolous problem.. but still)

Ok, can anyone help me compare the two resorts, YC and GF? I'd love to stay at the YC because of the location and we could do the concierge... BUT, the GF seems like it would be the ultimate honeymoon resort, and hopefully we could get a view of the castle.. AND its on the monorail, a HUGE plus.

decisions, decisions... can anyone give any insight???

CONGRATULATIONS! I wish I had your problems...sort of! Actually, the Grand Floridian is a Beautiful hotel and the rooms are Fantastic! you can get a great view of the lake upon request...Victoria and Albert's would be a wonderful place to have dinner when you feel like going out (haha). I haven't stayed at the Yacht Club yet...we're going to stay there in December at the Concierge level and I've heard a lot of good things about it!
Personally, from a Honymoom prospective..I'd go with the Grand Floridian! Good luck and may your futures together be long! Helen

We had the same choice for our honeymoon and ended up going with the Yacht Club - a 1 bedroom suite with concierge. We were VERY happy with our decision. The resort was wonderful, and the location was perfect. We walked to Epcot and MGM, and to the Boardwalk everynight for dessert. Plus being so close to Epcot, we walked to dinner there all the time too. We didn't actually spend too much time at MK, but the bus service was great when we went there too. Good luck, its a tough choice. I'm sure you'll enjoy whichever you choose.

Just so you know, the GF tower rooms don't have a castle view. However, they are excellent rooms, perfect for a honeymoon.
