Yacht Club Concierge question

So, my travel agent is telling me that the club level rooms at Yacht Club are on all floors, AND 5th floor. I thought I read they were only on the 5th floor. Can anyone confirm either? I am reserved for Standard view Club level and have a 20 month old. REALLY want to be on the same floor as the concierge lobby. PLEASE HELP! Going in september for TOT 10 miler race.

I've stayed CL at YC a few times. All have been on the 5th floor but one. The one trip I was on a different floor was a few months after I was involved in a bad accident. I was still in a wheelchair and the room they had given us on the 5th floor did not have a roll in shower (although we had requested one) so we were moved to an accessible room on the first floor. I'm NOT saying they don't have accessible rooms on the 5th floor, just that one wasn't available during our trip. That may be the only reason we were on a different floor, not really sure, but did want you to know my experience.

A standard CL YC room is on the 5th floor.

Yes, the regular CL rooms at the Yacht Club are all on the 5th floor. There are a few Deluxe Rooms (bigger, more expensive) on other floors that have club level access, but you don't have to worry about those rooms unless you booked them, or you are magically upgraded.

I have stayed YC club level more than a dozen times and have been on the 5th floor every time. The primary exceptions are the suites, but the rest of the CL rooms will be on 5.

I was looking at the disneyworld.com site and did a quote for a standard room CL at YC and it said in the description " Standard view club level rooms are located on the 5th floor". My travel agent is still telling me that it's not the case, but that's ok. Also, she said that there are only a few standard view rooms on that floor and so the likelyhood of getting that floor is small. I'm hoping that you guys are right ( along with the website!). I really want to be on the same floor!

We are right. I am sorry your travel agent is giving you information that isn't helpful. Some travel agents are more informed than others. Has your agent mentioned to you that you can use the services of the itinerary planning office to help you with your questions, dining reservations or other activities? They are just a phone call or email away, and I highly recommend them. To contact the Yacht/Beach Club Itinerary planning office call 407-934-1448. Just have your reservation number handy so they can pull up your information.

She is a wonderful travel agent. I love her I think she was caught on Boardwalk because that is where I initially booked.

Gwynne, Thanks for the number and info. I am going to contact them soon so I can start planning extra stuff! I am running the TOT 10 miler AND the 5k and my son is running his first race ever so I'm super excited!

Now just to figure out which character to dress out as for each race......hmmm.......
