Beach Club has a Gingerbread House (half of one) similar to the Grand Floridian for the first time this year! They sell basically the same things that the GF does at theirs.

Thanks Whimsy! Great pictures. At this time last year I was one week away from a solo work training at the Yacht Club, all expenses paid. It was my dream to visit WDW during Christmas time and I was blessed enough to have it come true. I absolutely LOVED seeing my favorite resort, the Beach Club done up for the holiday's.

It looks like they are really stepping it up now with the new gingerbread house, which I think is a great idea.

I'll be at the Villas in Oct 2010 for F&W. Can't wait. We got a 2 bedroom ressie. WOOT! NO KIDS unless you count us 5 adults. I am sure we will be acting like children sometime during our trip. That is my hubby's and my plan anyhow.

We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to this suite during our August 2007 stay.

Can I just tell you I puked for 2 days straight laying on that couch hahha. Worst case of food poisoning I've ever had!

But yeah that suite is amazing! Great upgrade!

ooooo ahhhh! I LOVE that upgrade. I hope we get that upgrade when we go in Oct. Man is that nice!!! What is that one called? How many does it sleep?
Not that it will happen but I am curious about this gorgeous room.

Just wanted to say that we just returned from our first ever stay at Yacht Club. Everything was great. I have to admit that I was a little nervous about not being at the Poly and having the monorail, but I also loved the location of this resort. Being able to walk to Epcot, or take the water taxi to the Studios was fantastic. Also, I didn't find the bus ride to MK to be very long either.

The pool looked awesome, but being southerners, we just can't get in a pool even if it is 75* outside...still too cold for us to swim

I also need to add that the beds were so comfortable...probably the best feeling beds I've slept in at Disney.

I do believe that we'll be staying here again. We have to go when it's warmer and try out that great pool.

You can fill you mug at the BCR in the lobby gift shop-- there is a counter service area there. I believe- if memeory serves me correctly when wandering around YCR there was also a small gift shop that also had a place to refill your mug. The YCR gift shop is not far from the lobby there.

I LOVED the Y&BCR's. They were sooo close to my two favorite parks at the world. It was fantastic!!
