We are trying to choose a restaurant for my DH and myself to eat at to celebrate our wedding anniversary when next in DLRP end November :goodvibes.

We have looked at Cali Grill but just don't like the look of the menu. Not sure about Manhattan.... But the Yacht Club menu looks quite nice (not as seafood filled as a I thought!). Not even sure the menu is up to date on DLRPMagic?

So, has anyone been here recently? Anyone been in the restaurant - is it nice inside/intimate etc for a special occasion? The reviews on here are very old and there aren't that many!

Thanks for any help... :)

Did you see the new CG menu from June that Figgygirl took in photo ?

It looked so much nicer than the previous one :)

I believe the Yacht Club has been closed for the summer - guess it must be reopening soon if it hasn't already?

Thanks Carrie & Elaine.

I looked at the CG menu on DLRPMagic as they have been updated fairly recently and it didn't appeal that much if I'm honest... :scared: But, I guess it will change again November - is this correct?

Elaine - I forgot YC has been closed. It might not be open end November then? Have you been inside? It is nice in there? We'd obviously like somewhere a bit nicer than normal if you see what I mean. pixiedust:.

We had breakfast in there. It's very nice in there even though it's not to my taste - all dark wood, think 'gentlemen's club', but it's got big windows so although the decor's dark it's not dismal, if you get my drift!

I would like to have dined here if it had been open - I think it's a good choice for an adult only meal.

Thanks Carrie & Elaine.

The whole presentation has changed too, so much prettier and inviting on your plate and it looks exciting

Thank you both :goodvibes Elaine - I understand what you mean about being dark. As you say though, a nice place for an adult only meal.

Carrie - that does look much nicer - thank you so much for posting! The problem is I'd like to get booked up as soon as we can (like to be organised :lmao:), but I'm not sure what the new menu in November will be like for either place! I'm presuming neither will be full so I guess we could change once we see the menu as it's not until our second night, so we have time....

I can't eat shellfish and I'm not overly keen on some fish dishes (although I do like Salmon) so I'd prefer another dish - meat or something.

It's food for thought though - pardon the pun :rotfl2:! We can at least get our other meals booked which are more likely to be busy, especially with the parks closing times being earlier.

Thanks again!
