Yacht and Beach Club - Movie

Just returned from a stay at the Yacht Club and was surprised to find they had a sing along and movie on the beach everynight - just like Ft. Wilderness. Does anyone know if they do this year round or just during the summer? If so, why isn't it as well known as the one at Ft. Wilderness?

I was staying at YC last week and they were going to show one of the Pirate movies on Friday night, but left messages on our room voice mails to let us know they were instead showing High School Musical 2.

When I was there I think They Showed The Incredibles and something else I can't remember. It is really cool though.

It just started this summer. Great big screen set up on the beach. They showed Cars, the Incredibles, and Pirates of C. when I was there last week in July.

Too cool. Do you think it's seasonal or maybe going to be offered year round weather permitting? DD was just asking the other day if we could travel all the way to Ft. Wilderness from YC to do the campfire when we're there in January! I'm not going to say a word though until I find out if it's just for the summer. Are there characters there like at Ft. Wilderness and is there a campfire?

There is a similar program taking place at All-Star Music.It is a Pilot Program and could possibly become permanent.I don't know for certain,but I think the same holds true for the Yacht Club/Beach Club movie.I would suggest calling the Yacht Club directly and asking about their plans for the movies.

I actually didn't go to the campfire/ singalong because I was there for a conference and we were "working" when it started. I read about the sing-a-long in the little sheet they give you when you check in. I watched the end of Finding Nemo after our dinner at Epcot.

You were there with me - I checked out on Friday afternoon, but I wanted to see POC - since I've never seen it. The kids that were there must have been thrilled - I haven't seen either of the High School Musical movies but I understand they are HUGE. My cousin's 8 year old was in PA that Friday night and she told me she went to a party to see it.
