I wonder how many fastpasses you get? Like do you get one for each ride or for just one ride?

Good question. I thought it was like a dream fast pass. What good would one fastpass do? I can get that with my entry ticket.
Hopefully someone will post what kind of fast pass they received. When exactly does this promo start? Jan 1, 2009?

This is getting redundant. I'm going to bump the relevant thread, which has the official information from Disney (which, unfortunately appears ambiguous in several cases).

I dunno if its a park hopper or not. I honestly dont think it would be because its like $90 for a one day park hopper and like $50-60 for a one day single park ticket. There is always a catch to everything and Disney will want to save money if they can, so I would think it would only be for one park. But even still if your paying like $50-$60 at the gate for that ticket and they give you a GC for that amount, thats a nice chunk of change to spend on yourself if your asking me.

But I believe that you have to register all your birthday's on the Disneyland website and Disney sends you a confirmation 2 weeks before your trip to the park. You take that to the park with your ID to prove your birthday and they issue you a card as long as you are there a day before, on, or a day after your birthday.

If it is the amount of a park hopper, then I would definately look into seeing if it can go towards tickets for the parks for all your birthdays later in the year.

Maybe someone already answered this. The price of a one-day/one-park ticket is $69 right now, and will be next year until probably August or so and it will probably raise another $3.00. So, my understanding of the birthday promo is that if you already have an AP or whatever and don't need a ticket to get into the park, you get a Birthday Fun Card - now keep in mind, this is not a regular gift card. The regular Disney gift cards can be used on food, park merchandise, hotel stays, tickets/hoppers and online/in-store shopping for the Disney Store, and they can be used any time. The BFC MUST be used on your actual birthday, it will be for the value of what a one-day/one-park ticket would be, not a Hopper, and what you can get with the card is limited. You cannot use the Fun Card on food, hotels or anything. It can only be used on merchandise or special birthday activities/entertainment - whatever that means - and it has to be spent on your actual birthday. Now, if I recall correctly, you ALSO have the option of getting another one-day/one-park ticket to DL. I think I read in the small print somewhere that if you have an AP and don't want the ticket or the Fun Card or one of the other alternate Disney gifts, you can get another ticket to use within a designated time period, but you have to actually show up at the gates on your birthday to get it. But if you take that ticket then you won't get the $69 Fun Card. But you can upgrade the admission ticket they give you to a Hopper with your own money.

You get the holiday Monday in '09! The holiday Monday this year was really nice. No huge crowds at all. Was lovely for DS's b'day. (so happy it's Tuesday this year after the Weekend, yay)

I'll be there! My birthday is Halloween and since I have an annual pass I may go just to get (and spend) my fun card, enjoy the decorations, and maybe have a character meal or something.
