My sons school have decided that for this year they are holding the sats results until the last day of term when they get their reports! Are there any other schools that are doing this, are they allowed as all his friends, i.e. those at swimming club and youth club have been given theirs, and hw keeps asking why but is not given a straight answer by the school!! I am cross as he is at his new school for the day today and they know the results but he doesn't.

Not sure about Y6 but my DD is Y9 and she got hers on Monday. I now owe her £15 :scared1:

You too Joh - I owe Glen (Yr 9) £10 for his maths results only as his science didn't come up to scratch and we don't know his English result yet.

Ashley (Yr 6) only took maths as with his special needs school felt he wouldn't cope well with the other subjects, he was just a couple of marks off the next level up but we were very pleased with his result. School said he would have got a couple of more points if the questions hadn't been language based where his problems lie.

Back to the original question - no we haven't been officially notified, the teacher just had a quiet word with me to tell me the result with the Headmistress's permission and the proviso to keep it quiet until the results go out en masse.

DS bought his home today. I now owe him another present :scared1:

We haven't had all the results back yet - there has been some hold up. We should get them in next week and then we'll send results out to parents at the end of the week.

we haven't had ours yet, and no notification of when they're coming either :confused3

I teach year 6 and we recieved all our results by Tuesday. Our children knew their results as soon as they arrived at school (like 10 mins after they arrived.) I am very proud of my class as we have recieved the best results the school has ever had!!
It's wierd if schools haven't had them, they were all supposed to be out by today!!

We get ours in the report next Friday the day after Open Afternoon  But we do then still have a week and a half of school left!

Got our Daughters on Wednesday, Science arrived on the monday but I only knew that as I work in the school.
Anyway she is one happy bunny and a proud owner to be of the new West ham shirt ( I blame my husband for the latter :goodvibes )
She is now looking forward to her end of school production they are doing the Wizard of oz and she is the Wicked Witch ( I blame that one on me :goodvibes )
And then she is off on School camp for a week then 3 days left at school and she will be ready for her Holiday with the mouse before Big school .
She can't wait I'm the one thats nervous about it.
Anyway well done to all the year 6's
Take Care Cornish Pixie:goodvibes

Yay! finally got Callums last night, I had promised him his choice of holiday next year if he got striaght top marks.......

.......looks like there'll be another countdown to add soon ;) :woohoo:

Still no results here! They have them in school and keep telling the kids they will definatly get them on.... date, the kids get geared up for them and they don't get them. They have told the kids that its because one of the teachers is off sick (but she's been there this week!!), they have told me that they'll give them out when they are ready!!! but in my opinion its not fair to tell the kids a date and then not deliver, again and again. But did find out yesterday that the parents who work in the school know their childs results ~ which IMO is not right. Oh well may be tomorrow

Finally got our English results - they arrived in school late on Tuesday. Now they need inputting on school system and then results printing out for children to take home their individual report. That is the time consuming bit, I'm afraid, especially at this time of year with end of term productions going on and many, many other things.

I agree they shouldn't promise them on a certain date unless they are sure they can meet that deadline. Our aim is to have them out on Friday, when the rest of the school will get their optional SATS results.
