XMAS week for ME-what time will we have to leave VWL for a 3:15 flight?

I assume holiday weeks are busier, but any idea what time we will need to check our bags at VWL and hop on a MW bus for MCO if we depart on Friday 12-29 at 3:15 NW airlines? TIA.

In general terms, you'll need to be on the bus somewhere between noon and 12:15.

DME bus pickups are around 2.75-to3 hours prior to flight time. Each resort has 2 pickups per hour -- some resorts have them at :00 and :30, some at :10 and :40, etc.

As far as checking your luggage with Resort Airline Check-in (RAC):

The RAC desk is open from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You have to check your luggage in no fewer than 3 hours prior to your flight but no more than 12 hours prior to your flight. Do it as early as possible. Numerous posters have told of long waits for this service. If you can't get your luggage checked in early enough, then you can just take it to the bus with you and the driver will load it under the bus and then will give it back to you when you reach the airport.

Do yourself a favor and go to the RAC desk as early as you can, to save yourself the heachache of having to rush and hoping that you will get checked in in-time.
