Anyone else watching? It just makes us want to go home even more :thumbsup2

We watched and yes, I wanted to be there too! I actually said to DH that it would be nice to go at Christmas time again sometime.....then I read posts about the crowds and I decided to stay with our spring break trips (which is early in March, not at Easter, so it isn't too bad crowd wise).

I don't believe it is live....isn't it taped the first week of December?

I thought I saw on member site that you could sit in a specific viewing area for the taping however, it was for the beginning of December.

It was taped on the 6th. We were there and left for home half-way through. :)

Go in December again....It was not very Disney Like.....And it was very crowded...we will stick with Mar, Apr and May

We watched it too and all I kept thinking about was how much I wanted to be there. I loved the stories that they did. I can't wait until next month!!

We were there and it was crowded but it was not to bad. I can not believe how many people spent Christmas away from home. But the majority of the people I see are from other countries. It is amazing to think that they come to America to see WDW.

We watched is as we opened gifts....Santa must have shopped at WDW this year...:santa: mononrail, sleeping beauty with her horse, and lots of pins...lol! I sure wish we were there, but we were just there from Nov. 21-Dec. 1, so we experienced the Holidays, too... It was very crowded! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Seeing the parade (and wdw shows in general on the travel channel, etc) always makes me wish I were there, then. But it also makes me stop and think of just how fortunate and privilaged I am to be a dvc member and a frequent patron of wdw.
:offtopic:
I was actually reading some threads yesterday after watching the parade and as I was reading, so many were of complaints or snubs on this or that and all I could think was - "stop whining & learn to appreciate what you have" - which kept me from posting as I didnt want to be argumentative.

Watched the parade...could picture WDW....which is all we could do because Regis, Kelly and Ryan would not be quiet!!! What an annoying trio....I want to see the parade, not listen to you yammer.

We just got home Christmas Eve afternoon, I don't see why being in the World for Christmas would be all bad:confused3 , If your family is with you why not celebrate there, course crowds were picking up started to get bad on Monday but 12/18-12/21 crowds were fine 10 minute wait was longest we had walked on Splash Mountain? Parade was great and MVMCP on the 19th was fun fireworks were great:thumbsup2

I could hardly stand to watch Kelly with those pompoms. I kept hitting the mute button so we didn't have to listen to that trio.:happytv:

I loved the parade- I want to go during the holidays to see all of the decorations- but DH works for UPS and has a hard time taking off during December. :sad2:

I agree Kelly was a little annoying, and you could tell she and Regis were reading from prompters, but, the parade was magical anyway. It brought back memories of our first family trip to DLR in Dec 2006.
This year I watched with my 4yo DD and I welled up when the princess float came into view...

Some things I read make me say the same...We are so appreciative, that the little things dont bother us...BUT, some of the things we saw the 1st week of December were disgusting and not Disney Like...from guests and CM's......I heard there were layoffs, maybe thats why the atmosphere was different?

We were there and we actually saw my dd when they showed Miley singing. How cool is that!
