Xmas Day

I would like to be at the crystal palace on xmas day, how soon can I book a character dinner and does anyone have a number I can call?

Anything special happen in magic kingdom on xmas day?

Will I need a special ticket like with mickey's xmas party and halloween party, or will my normal ticket suffice?

You just book your meal 180 days before like all other days. The MK usually closes to news admissions by around 10 am so you need to get there early. There is not special admission as the Christmas Parade is just the regular one. They tape the tv one in early December.

One thing that did happen last year on Christmas Day was that as we were eating lunch in the Crystal Palace they had added a second earlier parade around 1 pm. All the characters left the restaurant because they were"in the parade" You can see the parade at a distance go by from the restaruant windows. We had a little one who wanted to meet Piglet and we had to wait until the parade was over which was over 30 minutes. It really was hard to explain to a 3 year old.

Good luck. We did the morning in MK on Christmas Day and ate at Cinderella's for breakfast and Crystal Palace for lunch last year ( our daugher's birthday). We got there early and had a good plan. It was really but a lot of people.

Christmas is an awesome time to go to Disney! However, I might reconsider Magic Kingdom for Christmas Day-- it is a mad house. The park usually closes to visitors early afternoon due to capacity being filled. We have been to MGM for two Christmas Day's-- not quite as bad. Or you might want to check out the Candle Light Processional at EPCOT and then do the dinner package for that.
